Really hope Mislintat turns into the new David Dein. If you look at Arsenal and Wenger, they both started to decline once Dein left. When Inter said Bergkamp was avaliable, Dein was straight on a flight to Milan and came back with his signature, really hope all these signings work out, and the club moves onto a new chapter

Sven Mislintat has been our most important signature forget players without him Mkhi and Aubameyang wouldn't of happened , there is alot going on at Arsenal behind Wenger's back and this is great news . Sven Mislintat nickname is diamond eyes because of his eye to spot talent at a young age , Aubameyang and Mkhi both was spotted by Mislintat and why Arsenal was successful in the signatures of Aubameyang and Mkhi.

Sven we love the guy got aubameyang and convinced ozil to stay good start in the summer if we can get good defenders and a good keeper like oblak we will be title challengers next season

As a United fan, I was not happy that he went to Arsenal because I have seen the effects of his work in Dortmund. The guy has a smart way of looking at and buying talent, but unless he doesn't get the support from Wenger who decides the team that plays week in week out, nothing will happen. So yes it's a two way street

Bilal Iqbal only once they get Wenger to retire from management and get a manager like Simeone can they see the effects of his work. Some of it can be seen now, but the reason why his ideas worked is because the manager would also dare to experiment with those players. I agree Wenger losing some control is a good thing for you guys, but when it comes down to it, Wenger is in a stronger position than him.

Baseball's moneyball tactics are pretty legit to be honest. I remember when my hometown Florida (Miami) Marlins won the World Series against the Yankees, the Yanks starting pitcher cost as much as 5/6 of the entire Marlins roster. Imagine a little club like Brentford occasionally beating out Man U and Chelsea for a title, then selling off players at massive profit and then repeating the process every decade or so. I think winning the Prem once or twice in 20 years is better than never having a chance to win it at all. lol

martypython There is no problem with using statistics in football, it can be a great advantage, it just can't be the main scouting tool. If you buy football players on statistics alone, then you are going to lose a lot of money.

No it can happen the board wanted Wenger out last summer but Kroenke saved Wenger's ass , this season Gazidis has altered alot behind Wenger's back he's doing it the right way pal taking power away from Wenger , Wenger's power was controlling tranfers and Wenger said it himself that no player should earn more than him Özil's extension of 350k a week smashed that out the water , Wenger isn't in control if he doesn't win silverware he's gone Gazidis will make this happen with Kroenke , Wenger's on a very fine rope he's massively under pressure now .

Another key difference is discipline. Dortmund analyses each player's key strengths and weaknesses and mould them to play in that permanent position. They are constantly reminded of their roles and responsibilities and they are also very strict with them in diet, nutrition, workouts, therapy, strength and conditioning. Unlike at Arsenal where nothing like this of sort happens and kids are just thrown at the pitch basically clueless not knowing what to do. Some even get caught in scandals and late night partying. Remember Wilshere/Szczesny?

See this shows me that it’s not necessarily Wenger who needs to go, it’s the shit around him/around the club that needs to go and needs to be replaced. Just look what happened when David Dein didn’t want kroenke to come in - and lady bracewell-Smith - the board got rid of both of them! Wenger didn’t do that, the board did!
