It's a pleasure, sir! I have driven a 2016 Vitara diesel, but not the post facelift car. I actually really liked it. The new one addresses many criticisms I had, but it is a shame that the boot is a little bit small (although average for the class of car).

Great first look at the new Vitara, I have a 2016 Diesel modal, it’s now done 46000 miles. The only problem I have had is when you close the tailgate the lights ping off the push on plastic clips. Haven’t had any help from Suzuki in fixing the problem. Was going to upgrade, but might wait till next year. Looking forward to the full road test.

Everyone reviewer who complains about the volume slider then immediately mugs their own argument by pointing out that there are is a volume control on the steering wheel. It would be a fair point if the slider was the only way to adjust the volume. Perhaps it hasn’t occurred to anyone that the slider is there for the passenger to use? Or if you’re parked up and fiddling with the info screen where you’d be looking at the screen you can use the slider when the ignition might be turned off and the steering volume controls won’t be operational.

Hello Marc, thanks for watching, and for commenting. I can see where you're coming from, but I wouldn't neccasrily say that reviewers are mugging off their own argument, merely just pointing out the the functionality. I agree with you, I'd say the control is more designed for the passenger, hence why it's on the left and not the right - I believe I may have made that point in another video I shot with a Suzuki.

It's crazy how similar it looks to my Fiat 500L CITY CROSS S-DESIGN : the Bicolore trim (€900) , the seats with leather sides, the gear lever, the dual cup holders, the Tft screen between the analog dials, the size of the boot and the interior space, the rear view camera layout... Though I like the design and style of my Fiat a little bit more, and although the Suzuki is a bit pricier for about the same kit considering both cars have about the same options, I would be very interested in the Vitara. The Fiat still offers some more practicality (flipping seats) and usability (rear USB, better cup holders, some more storage space in the dash), nice 17 inch wheels, but if I got across this first it would have been on my shortlist for sure. I love this colour, looks very cool. One tip on the video, please use steady cam for interior views. Way more clear and easier to look at 😉. Otherwise nice job. 👍👌👏

Hi Jurgen VdN, thanks for watching and thanks for the feedback. I do have a gimbal, but that's only suitable for my large camera and that gets bloomin' heavy after only a few minutes of use. It's funny, I've done loads of these type of videos and this is the only ever one that people have commented about the steadiness of the camera 🤔

@@CarObsession ha, should have looked at it then before I bought the Fiat. Still, I have zero regrets about my purchase and still love driving it, actually even more every day. My wife loves it, the kids love it too, that's what matters most. I'm sure the Vitara would have had the same effect on us, though the style of the 500L CITY CROSS S-DESIGN is very refined. Thx for all your feedback. To give you an idea of what I think of your reviews, I watch your channel with the same interests as CarWow and Autogefühl 👍😉

I think you might need glasses this looks nothing like a fiat 500l

I like Suzuki it is reliable and gets the basics right just wish it had a bigger boot and space. Looks wise I personally can’t fault it and no one spending that amount of money gonna care about the hard plastics. The boot is small for the size of the car the Arona gets a bigger 400 litre boot and the new Skoda Kamiq has more space and plusher.

It's funny how reviewers keeps shitting on that volume slider and how it's hard to press + & - buttons yet they don't know that you can slide up and down and adjust volume as you want.

Hello Hrvoje, thanks for watching. I wouldn't say I was s***ing on it, merely giving my opinion. Speaking from my personal experience I found that it was fiddly to use, whether I used the system as 'buttons' or as a slider. Actually to be honest, I found the slider function more awkward to use whilst on the move.

I have never used the volume slider in SCross GripAll with chrome grille. I just thumb the switch (like nearly every one else) on the round thing that makes car change direction.

I had to reject my new 2019 1.0 Boosterjet SZT after 25 days due to the doors not opening (using the remote) and then the car wouldn’t start. The day after I picked it up I had to call The AA out, this happened 17 times in total (the AA man showed me a trick to get the car started).The engine cut out 3 times when I was on the road. It’s replacement was ok for 2 months then the driver’s door check strap broke causing the window not to fully open !

Sorry but you sound like a robot talking or your reading from a script. Love the car, had, an old vitara which ran and ran.Does it really matter about interior design. We don't live in the cars.

Car Obsession I watch your vids not for the professional delivery, I can do that on what car or similar. I watch because you don't come across as a salesman, your just delivering and showing the info people want to know, in a simple format. Keep doing what your doing in your own style.
