Nice little vid. I like the bike personally & think it looks better than the MT or Hornet but that's subjective of course. Either way though, totally agree that price is critical for Suzuki. That US price comes from a direct currency conversation from the Australian Suzuki website that put a price on their site too early by accident & then took it down soon after. It was $14,190 AUSD which translates to about $9,500USD or £8,000. I would say the Aus & UK price look about right so there's a good chance the US price is right or at least very close. Suzuki need to be careful but they do have some margin as it can afford to be a bit more expensive than the MT & also the Hornet as it has a quickshifter as standard which is a $600 extra for the Hornet. Still fine margins for the Suzuki though.

The design is definitely subjective and I think it'll grow on me once I see it in person. Good point about the price of the quickshifter. Hopefully that's enough to "even the score" in buyers' minds. Thanks for sharing!

Glad I finally got my ‘22 MT-09 for $9499. Bike prices are only going up and my MT is the best bang for the buck in all of motorcycling. These middleweights can’t come close to the performance of the 900’s which are only around $1G more.

I think the blue is a beautiful bike. I really hope the price is right because I want this bike! I also hope it takes low octane fuel with long maintenance intervals and a good lifespan on that new engine.

Its got a weird mix of styles. Headlight is very Japanese style. But the tank is trying to do the simple product design like style, but failing. Es no bueno

Lol that's an interesting point...it's like a Gundam character wrapped around a more simple product...Has the potential to be interesting...maybe Gen 2 will be better (assuming they make another generation!)

this dude is full of Opinions, not much on actual objective performance issues and ride and handling etc, and what the bike, "is", not what he wants it to be. I think it is a 'sharp looking machine' and for what 'it' is' i.e. "Not" a speed racer, but a Street Sport, that [it] delivers what a street sport is made to be. Not like a bike (no names) that is in the middle weight cat, but really is trying to be a 'bigger' bike than its class. Im not seeing this bike as being as expensive as he says. maybe he was looking at another scale? But it cant be more than a Vstrom?

Very ugly bike and colors make it even worse. The MT-07 will pound it in sales AND performance. Why? Cuz the Suzuki is a hog.

Yamaha copied suzuki with the headlight design. The gsx s and 1k has something simular. And my guess is suzukis motor will have much more torque down low than the hornet and the Mt 7. The hornet revs higher hense more hp. My guess is the suzuki will be the quickest out of the gate compared to the mt and the hornet. Also it's a much nicer bike than either of the other offerings. The hornet looks like the old cb500f

It's not a good looking bike.
