Just subbed, relying on your word to see the rest of this series. Helping me think of more ideas of what to do with my new samurai. This is my first off-roader in a family that’s never done any sort of off-roading or have any other family that does it either so as a DIY mechanic I’m learning all of these things on my own and appreciate all the stuff I’m learning from what you’re doing. Keep it up man 🙏

We generally move the front hanger forward about 35-40mm. Also I highly recommend making the shackles only about 1" longer than stock ones, and you need to correct the caster angle so it sits at about 4-5°.
Looking side on at the end it is the perfect height for me, taking notes.

BLACK ROCK makes black rust free wheels with the correct offset and size for less than the time you will waste on those wheels. I have a 88.5 Samurai. On 31,s 16v fuelinjected. My wife thinks it hers

If you're gonna move the front wheel 2 inches forward, you might also have to extend the propeller shafts... Good video btw 👍👍

I did the Same with my stock wheels AND YJSUA YOUR KIT
Just found a set of those wheels for my build. Mounted a set of 34x9.5 swampers on them and forgot about the valve stem, now the valve stem rubs on the caliper lol

Do a spring over axel and gain yourself five inches of lift and no need for mucking about with longer shackles.

@@DrZFabricationThe KSeries motors crankshaft spins in the wrong direction in comparison to the suzuki engines. How're you going to mount the suzuki tranmission to that engine or if you're using the Kseries transmission, how're you retaining 4WD as the size of the gearbox doesnt allow the same shafts, mounts or connections to the transfer.

I like doing the suspension so then you can get more travel out of it. An better ride quality.
