Suzuki LT250R clutch arm adjustment

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

I need to know where this clutch arm position needs to be. Right now it is sitting at the somewhat 8 o’clock position and I’m wondering if it needs to be more at the 9 o’clock position. My clutch is slipping with the set up and my cable turned all the way in the lever is extremely tight. This is a 1992 LT250r

Couple things.. slipping clutch at high rpm could be bad clutch however, you said you had it adjusted all the way tight so it may not be releasing completely either. I’d take that clutch cover off and inspect... also what weight oil you running? Im having an issue right now because I ran too thick of oil and my friction plates are physically stuck together.. running some ATF in it right now to try and loosen them up.. I always ran the honda crankcase oil, the one in red container.. never had a problem.. got this Kawasaki gear oil and it was waaaayy to thick for the clutch! Good luck
