my GT cruise does the same exact thing.. no reason for it. Have to stop, switch off the bike, back on and cruise always works again.. but yea if it does not work while your riding, mine has NEVER started working again. The ONLY issue I have with my bike, other than 6th gear being too damn short....thanks for the video.

I'm looking at getting a new Suzuki GSX-S1000GT+ in the future. Had a look at one in my local dealer the other week when I was getting my SV650 serviced. I plan to downsize and move house, and the new house will have a garage and a bit more room. I don't plan on selling the SV, the replacement is coming out soon, and is going to use a parallel twin, but will be round about 800cc, so the end of an era. The SV650 is a cracking bike, they've been making them since 1999, so they're a bit of a classic already; it's definitely a keeper. I got COVID-19 the other week, after I managed to dodge it for the best part of three years. Looks like the cases are going up, I think I got it in the supermarket on a Friday, felt rough by the Sunday. Come Monday, I felt knackered, by Tuesday I ached all over, which lasted for about three days. Still feeling it after three weeks. Good job I had all the jabs, I would hate to face it without being inoculated, because it's definitely not fun!

@@bikemaddan9311 I was looking at the Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX, but I think the Suzuki GSX-S1000GT has a better all round package. The 3-year warranty (UK), a dash that can display maps, which comes in handy on a tourer, a great quick shifter, and, of course, that K5 derived super bike engine. Hopefully, Suzuki will have fixed the problems you’re having by the time I get one, as I'm not in a rush. I think the old SV650's will hold their price in the future. It's one of the reasons I'm keeping mine, the other being it's so much fun to ride, it sounds fantastic as well, with an end-can on. But, a naked motorbike is not the best bike for touring, or having a blast on the motorway, especially during in a British winter. I also prefer an inline-four engine for riding at high speed, I love that howl when you open it up!
