Hitting the rev limiter doesn’t do damage, it’s there so you DON’T damage the engine….

Dear Br-Performance TV i have stage 2 setup on my 2015 gsxs1000 AL2 and i made 160 whp with air fuel ratio on the rich side. Whats the best air fuel ratio of your setup?

The stock horsepower and torque figures on the chart are wrong. The graph show this motor going flat just after 7k, not true it pulls to 10 and flatens a bit to 11.5 hitting 144 - 148 hp stock.

Yeah every other dyno is about 145whp stock.. they under do stock and over do mods numbers

@@sugarrfree More than likely they are running GSX-R cams from the K5-K8 superbike in "stage 2". Main difference is valve material, cam profile, and slight compression ratio difference. GSX-R ran 14,000 rpm as well. This engine is tough as nails and can take massive power increases without trouble. It's had 2 decades of development and testing by drag racing, road racing, guys pushing hard with turbos and nitrous, head work, etc. It's been swapped, drowned in lakes, run in the dead of winter on frozen lakes, on ridiculous dirtbikes and keep going (check out Stunt Freaks team KZread channel). It's one of the best engines Suzuki has made outside the Hayabusa. 2009 BMW S1000RR is an engine developed based on the architecture of the K5 GSX-R1000.

Only if there is a massive downhill involved. Most folks report 145-150hp from exhaust and remap. Engine work is required to get more.

I'm seeing every where else 20hp to 25hp .. full exhaust, air filter tune.. and I think their inflating numbers lol..these guys 50hp lol

@@tomdickharryjane yes it may be stupid but not an idiot.. the standard power of the bike is stated at the factory less than what it is..in 136 hp as standard and 20 hp came with modifications more PC5 can throw in the trash !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, on paper the bike has +- 106hp from the factory it does however have a restrained engine, meaning that a stage 1 remap will unlock the full potential of the engine. More power gains are obtained thanks to the assembled parts. The power is measured at the crank, not the wheels.

@@Antmanmoto 106 is wrong, I own this bike and I got 147 in stock form, 158 after ECU Flash, full exhaust system, race air filter with air box mod plus Power commander 5.
