Thank you for this video! However can you share your opinion with us regarding the top case? Can we use our Suzuki top case and plate? Because you said in your video, that still the givi plate is compatible with the givi side cases.

I was thinking about a whole new seat, without a passenger position, but with a tall "cover" built in which would allow more storage height. Like a built in tail box.

you could probably just put a regular airplane bag there and strap it on the bars on the side and you'll be fine.

Interesting place to put the rectifier. As time goes on it becomes more obvious to me that motorcycle designers are not real world riders. My 200 Burgy and lately my 400 Burgy are needing odd jobs doing that require full strip down to access fuses.

Thats good idea.but it is difficult to use the motorcycle in Istanbul.traffic is always too much

Boa tarde. Tenho uma Burgman 650 2019. Coloquei as malas e prejudicou a visão dos espelhos retrovisores. Coloquei dois espelhos da Burgman 400 e ficou uma adaptação perfeita. Além disso a mala lateral esquerda tem que ser removida cada vez que colocamos gasolina. Se quiser as fotos dos espelhos adaptamos entre em contato. Grato.

I am 182 and using Burgman in cold climet in Norway. For me its perfect no buffetiing to 140km-h. You just need to be carefull with cleaning allways use soft towels. Once i used wrong paper towel and it was like sand paper wrrrr. Mvh from Oslo

You are taking out bag/case with one click and you have lot of space thru rack

The side boxes (panniers)are fitted opposite way around 😬

Apparently the 2018 is designed a bit different as there is no way that set up will fit on my bike. Going to return it.

It does fit. But in order to get the rectifier off I had to remove the passenger rubber foot top and remove the 2 bolts. That provided enough play in the plastic parts get my hands and tools up under the skirting. Very tight fit.

I think you're Over torquing the mounting bolts !

You just take of one of the bags with one clic

The 400 is easier to put gas and Change in the oil too. The 650U gotta remove s*** just filled gas up or change the Oil.

Man, that's a terrible place for a regulator/rectifier what a poor factory design! It's a wonder these bikes don't have major electrical problems!
