Suzuki bandit 600 streetfighter, strip down, new parts, lose weight, simple streetfighter

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

hi guys, if this video helps you out at all or you just enjoy watching then please feel free to tip enough to get a hot drink. The channel does cost a fair few pound to run so all tips would go towards continuing the vids and making them better.
thanks

This bike is brilliant in its original form however being the rare white on blue model it deserved to be slightly lighter and better looking, so I've streetfighterd it and it looks great.

Something I'd like to do down the road.... I've just picked up a bandit s. I'm happy with it for now but would be keen to remove the fairing in time.

Honestly the front fairing and metal brace weighs alot. Taking it off makes the bike feel like a different beast. Well worth considering.

Oh this is just fantastic! Not even half way through and already enjoying it. Just got myself a Mk1 96 faired model. I plan on doing similar as I hate faired, but love naked!

Hi Anthony, thanks for the feedback. Try my yamaha fazer streetfighter video for more clarity in how it's done. These bandits feel so much better once that heavy front end is gone.

@@motorcyclerescuer Cheers matey. Got her in for an MOT yesterday, only failed on fork seals so having those done. Next job will be removal of the fairing, fitting Renthal bars and finding some suitable brackets for the headlamp and indicators.

Hi, why change the harness out of curiosity? It's very easy to isolate any wires not used. Thanks for watching.

@@motorcyclerescuer i thought about opting for the same route you did .. but i believe the harnes on the naked is less bulky then the faired version ill be going there .. forgot to mention .. please do NOT use WD40 to "greece" up the cables.. wd40 is ment to remove rust etc not to greace up stuff .. better off making a tiny funnel out of tinfoil .. and use some motor coil .. just let gravity do its job

I nearly always use wd40 first to loosen up cables and then follow up with a grease. Wd is great for the initial loosening up.

I do like the look.. Don't care much for fairings..Watching these videos are educational but the OCD in me drives me crazy..I wash things before I work on them and a simple wipe on the insides of the controls before you put them back on the bars..Even if you don't video it..Just say it..WD-40 cleans and rust protects but follow it with sóme oil or cable lube..🙂

I can assure you Robert that I use way to much wd40 🤣. People won't regularly watch vids longer then 30 minutes so the editing cuts so much out.

i have a gsx6/11 SS i had a hornet and i still think is a better obtion than the bandit ... the only bandit i see is worth it is the 1200 mk1

I've had many bandits and the 1200 is just heavy really. It's not that much faster then a well tuned 600. I'm starting to not like bandits as much as I used to though. I think it's as they age
