Suzuki Alto. Radio removal and refitting. 2013.

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Radio. Removal.
I removed my radio as I had some buzzing rattling from behind the radio area. I couldn't see anything obvious but it seemed to disappear after refitting it so it must have been something loose. If you choose to do this yourself, please take your time and be careful. I can't be held responsible for any damage caused to yourself or the vehicle. I believe this is similar on the Nissan Pixo too.
BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THE RADIO, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RADIO CODE FIRST, OTHERWISE YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO USE IT.
If you'd like to, you can buy me a coffee if you think this was useful to you. Thank you.

Hello Qaiser. Thank you for your kind message. If you're talking about the reflective surface, I don't think you can. Unless they've changed the type of finish, if you rub it, it will come off completely. If its the outside of the glass, you can special kits to do this. Sorry I can't be more help. Good luck. David. 👍

Hello. I haven't actually removed mine at all so I can't say for definite I'm afraid, sorry. Unfortunately I don't still have the car either. I believe they are just lifted by the use of a thin blade around the edge, but if you are on Facebook, join the Suzuki Alto Owners group page and someone on there will definitely tell you. Thank you for watching. ☺

There's also a Suzuki forum online with a section covering the Alto's. It's worth trying that one of you're not on Facebook. I know what you mean about trying things and causing damage. Give the above forum a try. Good luck, I'm sure you'll get there. 🤞🤞👍

Hi Will. I don't think there's enough room to be honest, but it's amazing what people can do with things like this nowadays. If you're on Facebook, join the Suzuki Alto owners page, great info on there, and also Google a specialist car audio site and ask them. I hope that helps and hopefully see you on the FB page. Thanks you for watching.

Morning Edris. The sz model like mine had a fixed seat but the sz3 and 4 ( maybe the sz2 as well) had the height adjustable seat fitted. You might be able to fit one of these to yours which will help you. Hope this helps. Thank you for your message and for watching. ☺👍

Dear David, Thank you very much for video. It helped me a great deal! I was just wondering if you had any experiences / ideas regarding installing a external Bluetooth module. Bought one, plugged it in and connected my telephone. So far so good. But can't find the option in the radiosettings were the radio uses the new music input. Pressed pretty much every button. Would you have any ideas? Would appreciate your thoughts.

Hi Leon. Thank you for your kind comment. I'm pleased it was of help to you. Different radios have different ways of working so I can't help you there I'm afraid. If you're in Facebook, search the Suzuki Alto Owners club group and join..... As there's a lad who's really into radio and audio equipment and he'll be able to point you in the right direction. Let me know how you get on. 👍👍
