First let me say try to I follow and love this way of eating, but my main issue with it and where I struggle is with getting enough COOKING variety of those "non-starchy" veggies. Mostly I and other people only see "steamed broccoli" over and over. And that's a big turn off. I still love this way and I too, am I "volume" eating, so I can totally relate to Kiki on that. But the biggest thing that throws me off - is the other half of the plate with what veggie to put that and not get bored. I got my book, yesterday and love see all the new sauces - I agree, that makes the difference. But I do fear if I put it all over my plate, that weight won't come off.

I've heard some rather crude comments from you, my dear sister, but it never kept me from the valuable information you were sharing. I cannot imagine you being offended. His scientific understanding of McDougall's work is incomparable. His respect for him is the highest. His respect for US, our health, is immeasurable. We (you & I) are tough ladies. There are many of us out here who know how to bypass the irrelevant stuff and go straight for the "meat" (pardon the pun). If you censor the speakers over trivialities how will we ever get to the nutritional truth so often denied us in the medical system? Plez reconsider your decision. He is too priceless to censor.

Say your 50/50 plate is 400 calories, then you preloaded, that's 500 calories. and then if you're still hungry and go back and do another 50/50 plate, there's another 400 calorie plate. That's 900 calories! if you do that 3 times a day, (which I see people do) how are you reducing calories? I'm so confused LOL What am I not understanding?
