I love that the SBREBROWN ink is the testing ink in use! I do enjoy your videos. Not too much tech, no heavy scripts just the honest opine I do enjoy.

Discovered a sugarcane paper that worked with my fp in college. I quite liked it!

Franklin-Christoph notebooks are also filled with sugar cane paper, in case you want to pay a lot more. Works pretty well with a fountain pen, only bleeding through a bit when quite heavily applied.

🙏 can’t find at Staples. They’ve had some of the FC paper on Amazon like the reporter notebooks.

I've been using this paper in the legal pads and printer paper for several years with fountain pens. Great for everyday use. I also love the subtle green lines that tend to blend into the background.

Thank you for this review. I am always looking for paper that works well with fountain pens and will not send me to the poor farm. I will keep this paper in mind when my students receive their fountain pens from me after they meet my cursive handwriting expectations.

Thanks, Stephen. Much more impressive than I expected. Show-through wasn't bad considering how broad and wet the last two nibs were PLUS those inks are wet and dark. Not too shabby! :D

I’m excited about this paper, but I prefer unlined. I’ll have to look to see what options there are. I’ve used sugar cane paper made for copiers for some time now and have found it to be very fountain pen friendly. Thank you, Stephen! I’ll gladly listen to you again later.

Great review! I'm going to order some now. It's nice to see that SBRE Brown is NOT another of the many "Monsieur Montblancs" for whom MB is the be-all end-all of all things related to fountain pens. Other reviewers out there never fail to mention Montblanc several times during their presentations - Montblanc biscuits, Montblanc coffee cream, yada yada yada. Thank you for NOT being a Montblanc freak.

I USE REPROPAL SUGARCANE LASER COPY PAPER, IT'S A COLOMBIAN PAPER AND IT BEHAVES VERY WELL THAT SHEEN INKS DO SHEEN AND FEATHERY INKS DON'T FEATHER THAT MUCH.
