Not only for cargo bikes but it also can be an innovative way for wheelchairs as the front or rear suspension design on the Gleam E-cargo bike or the Stroke cargo bike can make a perfect suspension for rigid frame sport wheelchairs. I'm a paraplegic that has gone through two wheelchairs and now on my third one as I write this message since the year of 2010 I've been a paraplegic And all thy wheelchairs I've seen and used all have stiff frames which is directly mounted or have an adjustable clip base on axel that can move forward or back depending on the center of gravity you like and even switch out with a carbon axel tube for a lighter chair. But like I said this would be an innovative idea for wheelchairs. Making this type of suspension, plus that amazing idea of it always be level. due to the awesome suspension we'll never need to worry of flipping sideways thanks to the Gleam escape cargo bikes suspension mounted on a wheelchair... how cool would that be... or take the bike idea and just put a wheelchair seat frame that could attract to the back itself.

20- years ago them first scooters were not practical to use as a work load vehicle. Strictly them scooter bikes were meant for kids of a minimum speed and range. Now, the batteries evolved to be practical to use as I myself uses e bike everyday for 20 miles and still have battery which 20 years ago I would of had to re buy every dam 3 to 4 months of the old lead acid ones. The new lithium has changed everything to having more people using e bikes as a norm.

why build a bike when you can just build a scooter that you can sit on. And have removable plug in battery on the trailer compartment, that you are pulling. That way you can travel long range or have long operation time. You can simply pull out the battery and install a new charge battery and off you go again.

yeah this is pretty stupid. It has its place but if you think this is going to transform the entire logistical industry...Lol. before you say anything, i rode my e-bike every day to work. Having work with delivery/courier services before in my younger days, one person is expected to hit 30-50 targets a day and a package could be as heavy as 20-30 kilos. This measly e-cargo bike won't cut it and it only mean a logistic company needs 2-3 more workers to cover the range of a driver with a cargo van.

The problem is you can buy a decent used car for a price of an e-bike which is not even a cargo bike. Some cargo bike is more expensive than a cheaper new car. Something went wrong again. The idea was very good but on the process the greed destroyed the whole thing again or simply the small volume manufacturing is still a very outdated solution when you want to make average things for average people. The e-cargo bikes/motorbikes fate is the same like the e-cars. They are way too expensive for average guys, so their market is very limited and very small.

very cool bikes though i'll never use anything with hub motors they just can't climb hills especially at these low powers advertised(250-500watts) makes them flat ground limited, strictly mid-drive only and nothing short of bafang BBSHD an 52+volts(more volts = less amps = less heat build up = less likely to burnout ..... more wattage eg, 1000+watts plus gears means climbing hills and hauling weight is easier = less strain on motor and parts all this means more reliable vehicles/bikes) ........ i have built my own e-bikes started with hub very quickly upgraded to mid-drive now done a total of 33,700km (19,000miles) mids are far better .......
