Actually...a really interesting concept? The whole idea of children of monsters and humans turning into/adapting parts of the other species felt kinda odd at first but it made sense and turned out to be a good way of expanding on the idea when it comes to a monster and a humans child, the art is really well made too, this was great and very unique when compared to other comics!

Toriel is a really good Mum because even though there might be a lot of rude and nasty comments about her human, she decided to still raise her and take good care of her. That's... the only good thing about her.

The best part is, it shows why Susie respects Toriel, but hates Kris. She hates Kris because Kris had a loving mother, and respects Toriel because Toriel isn't sending her child away to some foster home.

"Don't worry if you experience constant and considerable pain for days on end" Hmmm yes, a *very* calming thing to say to a kid around the age of 10 (looking at what the average Puberty age for a female is, of course)

Actually yeah that would make sense why she singles Kris out because they’re human in what’s supposed to be an all monster town and seems to fit in quiet well despite being different. Well its better explanation then just an excuse for them to be together for the supply closet. Honestly I like the idea and also gives in-site to how human monster relationships work and also why Susie seems to have so much free time

It’s kinda sad when you realize Susie’s violent tormenting personality is probably because of the way her parents were treating her.

Poor Susie, being born half-human, half-monster, abandoned by BOTH of her parents in different ways, and having to move in with a cold, uncaring foster mother (or GRAND-mother, rather), it all looks like it hit her INCREDIBLY hard. I'm not sure whether or not this turns out to be canon. I certainly hope not. Apart from that, excellent comic, and very good voice acting. :) I hope we get a sequel.

I honestly don’t know if her mother was right or wrong to do that. Either way it’s probably just as well she sent Susie to a foster family. Then she probably wouldn’t have met Kris, Noelle, Ralseai, and find the dark world she’s grown to love so much

I wish this is canon, this was so great. The realism sells it, like even after peace both sides still have their issues with each other. I'd read through a series of this artist.

If you really think about it, the prospect of this is a little horrifying. The idea of a hybrid child slowly and painfully turning into what their Monster parent is. What if their Monster parent was a Skeleton? Would their skin just peel off? Maybe rot in clumps? Having to watch themselves in the mirror, once a human slowly lose their skin and muscle and organs and turn into what should be underneath. True, they’ll become magic-based. But while changing, they’d still be partially human. What about a Fire Elemental? Would they overheat and practically burn alive until they fully turn? Which is stated can take up to six months to two years? Or a Ghost Monster? Slowly turning practically transparent, having a hard time grasping things and fazing through walls. Maybe accidentally possessing random items, maybe an inanimate object? Without proper guidance, they could find themselves trapped until they somehow figure out how to free themself, that is *if* they figure it out. It depends on the Monster, really. Like, what about a Moldsmal? A Vegetoid? In game they are cute in my opinion, but take into account that they were born that way. Imagine just looking like yourself one day, then slowly shrink and turn into a small jello-looking Monster. Or a freaking vegetable! Susie is definitely lucky, when you think about it. It might have not have been easy for her, but it could’ve been worse.

I... Really like this theory. Beyond the fact of a human turning into a literal monster here which is really fucking cool in my eyes. There's also the fact... that it really feels like this is such a nice parallel between Kris and Susie... And maybe this could explain why Kris quickly becomes friends with her despite being a bully to him once... What better way to get along than having similar backgrounds...

I hope this absolutely blows up, this was a great fan elaboration of Susie. I only really started getting into deltarune a week back and Susie went from being a really brutal character to being one of my top favorites of both games. This comic is just gonna live as canon for her backstory to me, it just fits so perfect for her and how she is as a person. It was a great comic that really made me sad as all hell and just feels like a perfect background for her. I'm glad I stumbled on this comic so fast, it really enhances Susies character for me and hits some truely emotional points, fantastic job to whoever came up with this.

Kris: *minding their own business* Susie: kill

I like that the concept of kids born from a monster and a human isnt entirely a fanmade concept. Kris constantly wondered when their horns would grow in when they were younger, and its not like they got that idea from nowhere...

Susie even admits by herself that she doesn't want others to know about it. She lies about not having it several times (here, right before the mentioned scene, at the very end of the Chapter 2 cyberworld, and after their return she scare off Noelle attempting to look on the tail in the Hometown). We only do not know why Susie isn't fine with others knowing about her tail.

@@nixtypikal Maybe, yet for me it's not very realistic. It would seem to be rather about balancing with a tail if it's long enough, but it would grow anyway. Given the context of this video and some versions I've found around the Internet, there are two of them: 1) Susie isn't fine with it, because it's so long that it's making some troubles at least with washing and stuff, but so short it can't help her to be proud of her body - she has thoughts that people would find it rather funny, not impressive, and she hates being laughed, no matter if her fears of this shame are close or far from the truth. 2) (this comic can be probably a hint to it) Susie looked much more like a human when she was younger, but gained her "monster traits" while aging. When she was able to cope with some of them, such as long yellow crooked teeth, and even brag about using them, she still can't accept some of her other "furry remainders" such as the tail. She may think of herself as a human with some "beast traits", or at least "almost human", but still not ready to accept herself as a "fully non-human".

Always cool to see something of yours, and they are very well done, the quality it's always high tier

Good heavens... I didn't think Susie would live like this and be treated like an animal. And humans can be... mean and her self-esteem and sorrow and loneliness are getting... more interesting. 😢 If this is how she was living... then I'm glad that Susie has a GF like Noelle.

After watching this origin story, I finally understand why Susie is what she is. Being born half human half monster in a dysfunctional family, then being sent to a foster monster parent that is as neglectful as her human mother because of monster puberty left deep scars. Thank you for sharing! Congrats to the whole team that created this video!

is this how angels feel, watching the toils of humanity, watching the suffering, knowing it's horrible, yet desireing to be apart of it, desiring to expirnce it, to live it, to suffer.

This is a Truly Powerful and Emotional Start to something Awesome... Its am amazing take on Susies origins in this who started out as human but then becoming the Susie monster form in her teens and upon her seeing Kris whom isnt an monster walking with Toriel his adoptive mother looking/feeling confused and Angry wondering why theyre living in a monster city as a human. i cant wait for Part 2 and see both Susies and Krises character interactions , and theyre development and connection grow stronger as they who are in similar but yet different positions as theyre on the outside looking in This is Truly Beautiful and cannont wait till Part 2👊😌

Let's ignore the child, how does the... conception work? Like, how does the human NOT get third degree burns? Do they GET third degree burns? If yes, how do they even manage to conceive or inseminate without becoming infertile on the spot? ... is it actually so common that a human and a fire elemental know each other biblically it NEEDS to be pointed out to KIDS? I think it works like heatblast from Ben 10. When Ben transforms into him he can’t feel anything even when he’s on fire. Maybe it’s the same for a fire monster child too

I. LOVE. THIS. I'd never thought of the possibility of a human and a monster in the Undertale/Deltarune world having a child, but now I'm thinking it's totally possible. This is really well done!!

If anyone is curious why this art style feels familiar, it’s the same creator as PaperRunes! Which this really puts into context the whole Noelle and Susie scene with food… she was raised human, and even then probably didn’t care much about her food besides not eating a lot of it.

Now i just want to hug Susie. Even if she'd probably just end my life instead.

Must be a horrible experience to live you life as a human, only to start to transform into something that you feel that you weren't supposed to be. 😰
