Could even combine it with a secret Pass it On, so the first person gets in, is told to make a dish with a theme (without telling them that they're gonna switch out with the next person), the next person has to guess the theme and continue, Pass-it-on style.

I think this has been one of Barry's best Pass It On. He didn't panic much, didn't add/do anything weird

Actually he has been doing well for quite sometimes. He won recipeless challenge. He won Chef’s remote control battle. He made right decision in Spaghetti Bolognese Pass It On. He contributed a lot in croquembouche video (beside panicking a lot). He did double breadcrumb in Fish and Chips video. I want cloud egg Barry back. ☹️

James: 6 panics out of ten. Mike: 400 sneezes out of ten. Ben: 8 ‘what has everyone done?’ confused moments out of ten. Barry: 10 ‘deserves far more belief in himself’ out of ten. Jamie: 4 times more wasabi than there should be out of ten.

I am so amaze at how Ben always manage to give us info on all the food that he’s preparing while chopping, peeling, cutting, mixing at the same time etc...all within 10 minutes.

That's what you get with a Chef that has done this for at least a decade. And whatever happens he doesn't panic or starts going crazy, like James did in this video and the one where they cook the Swedish dish with the recipe in Swedish. Also the way when he does something wrong, he just fixes it with something else on the spot.

Should do a theme of “Jamie’s pick.” He selects the dish and the order of the team. He has to go first because only he will know the dish.

It’s funny that he typically gives himself a high score for his performances in these videos because he tends to massively overestimate his contributions but it’s admirable that he’s got so much self confidence! The badge battles proved that he’s a skilled competent member of the team, and he knows the limits of his skills and technical ability but is also brave enough to push himself to the limits and attempt to execute difficult tasks that he gets criticised for when he fails to deliver as expected 😂

The fact that Baz's middle name is James means there's three of them. And everyone is talking about how perfect James' middle name is (and it is), but who else but big personality Jamie would need TWO middle names.

It was brilliant watching him slate James’ contribution to the dish and not even give any consideration that what he walked into was done for a reason 😂😂 if I walked in after a chef I’d automatically assume that everything that’s been done has a purpose rather than being a mistake so watching him slew James whilst being completely wrong was so funny because he had the right idea to skewer more prawns was correct he just did it in the completely incorrect way that didn’t help the team achieve their end goal but was swiftly amended by Ebbers who was on the same wavelength as James and understood his intentions unlike Mike 😂😂

The best thing about this is Jamie covering 2 nigiri in a tablespoon of wqsabi but making sure he took the one without any

Suggestion: Everyone's still on partial lockdown, so it's the perfect time to get everyone on voice chat and react to all the Pass It On episodes that don't have reactions.

Well he didn't do rolls plural, just the one. You can prepare two rolls in ten minutes if you want so Jamie only has to roll them and slice them, so they could have had a variety and probably given themselves a pass

High tea does include more filling foods eg shepherds pie, as opposed to simply sandwiches, scones and cakes. @@MechaEmperor7000 I'm Korean and grew up on Kim Bap (which is very similar in technique to a sushi roll) and make nigiri at home sometimes. The hardest thing in making nigiri is to press the rice enough that it holds its shape but not so much that it becomes a gummy like bad mochi. Yeah, properly is right.

This is the absolute hardest I have laughed at one of these videos ever. The music, the cheerful "ping!" of the sneeze counter, Mike pirouetting back and forth right by the hand washing station...oh man. Had to pause to catch my breath. Well done mate.

In times like these, Mike's sneezing etiquette is actually far more outrageous than the fail :D (considering the fact that sushi was slightly butchered here that IS sayinng something!)

Barry: if I ruin this Jamie can have another go Janice: HA! cold.

Idea for theme and order... Theme: Homegrown (showcase some local farmers/markets/foods) Order: Childhood home; closest to furthest from Buckingham Palace.

Dish: boujee pub snacks/finger foods Order: who can handle their alcohol - best to worst (to make things extra spicy, each round the turns remaining have to take a shot (meaning the lightweight going 5th ends up with 5 shots - I feel like the plating would be spectacular...) Alternate Order: youngest to oldest, age they had their first real girlfriend/partner

I think you should do a platter, but everyone has to complete one part of the platter in their allotted time. Eg, if you were doing something like fast food, one has to do the burger, one the fries, one the drink, another the onion rings etc

Idea for Order: The guys decide the order, afterwards they have to reach into a hat and pull out a slip of paper, only one of the papers is marked, the person who gets the marked slip does nothing or creates something completely separate. Whether or not the marked person wants to remain secret is up to them.

Mike is the perfect example of why you should sneeze into your elbow when dealing with food, and right now in general. ❤️ Stay healthy, everyone!

I would love to see a theme of "deconstructed" -- it's a posh term that gets thrown around a lot, and I would love to see something traditional or well known to the guys (like a beef wellington) torn apart and pieced back together!

I make deconstructed sushi bowls. Basically a bowl of sushi rice, strips of seaweed, chopped avocado, crab, some cucumber and a bit of soy sauce and sesame seeds. Easier than the rolls but tastes the same.

James' freaking out is still so calm.

Last time i suggested riddle themed relay where you dont reveal the dish and only give riddles based on the dish, maybe reveal it for the 4th or last person to make it possible. Now im gonna suggest something fun, arrange lots of ingredient in one place, make a large pile, then have the 5 bois throw something like darts and the 5 ingredients they hit have to be in the dish, maybe just use pictures of ingredients instead of real ingredients. Maybe also use darts for the orders Maybe to make it more interesting they are not allowed to use any other ingredient other than the 5, or the 5 ingredients have to be on the same dish, cant be used to make some side dish.

The Pass It On challenge must have seemed like a good idea when they thought of it, but it's too stuck in its own formula now. You can write the script before seeing any of it. Everyone plays the character they always play, and all that changes is the order. How about this: the two chefs think up the challenge, then the three Normals have to do it, with no chance of being rescued by Ben. Wouldn't it be fun to watch a complete failure?

"I sniffed it so hard I got it in my eye!" That's quite a sniff. 🤧 I haven't laughed this hard at one of your videos in a long time.

Best Pass It On that I've seen in a while! I love it when the guys talk about their thought-process afterwards, it often leads to so much more laughter 😊

Challenge: Fair Foods Order: Last time they went to a fair/festival. Hope to see their take on the classics of funnel cake and corn dogs. With so much getting scaled back or stopped due to the bug I'd like to see the summer staple of fairs get some love.

The closest most people get is the ones on 5th November, other than that it would be a music festival like the Isle of Wight or Glastonbury. Most people go once a year in November, and even then actually most don't really bother.

Honestly one of the funniest Sorted vids I've ever seen. I may have facepalmed when Mike sniffed the seasoning like that and when Jamie ate that gob of wasabi, but it provided for some great content.

I choked on my pretzel when I saw Jamie take the nigiri without wasabi. XD I love any time a counter pops up it is always hilarious. And Janice's sarcasm with Mike just seems to build as the episode go on. She was especially critical today! Next pass it on should be a big full course meal with and order of who has been to the most countries, most to least.

Mike should cook in full drag as Janice, and completely become the character in one pass it on. Then Mike would do the commentary that Janice would do typically

When Ben announced that Jamie would have to roll the Sushi, you could see Jamie contemplating running out and changing his middle name by deed poll, so he wouldnt have to...

What one is the marshmallow hiding in? I only discovered Sorted recently and thought I'd seen all the Pass It On, but that's not familiar.

Staying with the Japanese theme, how about an Omakase pass it on? Chefs go first, 20 minutes together, then the normals have to finish the "chef's choice" meal one at a time without knowing the dish?

You all are the highlight of my week, but Jamie in particular really brings me joy.

Mikes face as “Janice” reveals the theme and order always tickles me to no end. Like, he really tries to sell it. I had NO idea! 😯😳🤭😉

You realise the voice-over is recorded afterwards, yeah? When they film it's likely one of the sound/camera-crew that reads off the theme and order, and that's then muted and dubbed with the Janice voice-over in editing, so it IS the first time he hears it.

Last time I was this early I've heard "Wakey wakey, rise and shine"

It's actually a thing, there's a decent amount of Japanese people in Peru (some were sent there from the US during WW2 and some went there for work from Japan later) so there's an interesting fusion from that. Ebbers putting it in the middle like that did just confuse Barry. I think Jamie walked in confused.
