The same here... There is one about an hour from where I live, my room mates and I enjoy going every so often. The prices are well more than a dollar per plate, but still pretty reasonable and it's nice to try a variety of dishes. I wish we had a lot of these options. They do the gatchapon prizes differently too. Instead of a chance every five plates they will show a short animation themed around whatever characters were being offered as prizes and the sushi chef character. After a few of them shown you would automatically get a prize.

I must be one of the few people who's thinking "phone... entertainment... when you're at a restaurant???" Personally, I believe going to a restaurant is one of those times you DON'T use your phone. Assuming you're not going alone, Is the other person / people you're going with not entertainment enough? Maybe I'm too opinionated but if someone whipped their phone out mid-conversation or something, I'd consider that rude. We're too attached to technology.

We have Kura in the USA where i live. The plate game and characters are the same as the one you are visiting. No green tea or hidden compartments at the tables though. @J F Because over here people don't know how to act. Japanese people are much more in tune with this type of stuff. Did you see the bowing person cartoon when you order food. It's great, they're so patient and nice in Japan because they're a collective society rather than individualistic so less people to act up and ruin stuff like their vending machines that serve hot food, etc.

when I ever get the privilege to visit japan I will have to resist the urge to only go to one restaurant repeatedly. kura seems like a dream come true 🤤
@takehirotaniguchi6271 Жыл бұрын
Kura is a great experience if you'd like to expand your sushi palette but omg it was a hassle being a worker there. You constantly had to worry about the conveyer belt being full while customers would order 4 items at a time even though you were already backed up trying to fill the empty conveyer belt. If you go to one of these places PLEASE finish your plates first instead of ordering a barrage of plates to the point where you can't even put them on the table. We've had customers do this to the point where other customers couldn't get their orders because the delivery conveyer belt would be backed up with food that people ordered but haven't taken off yet because they ordered so much that nothing else fits on their table so then it ends up backing up the entire kitchen because of 1 table.

These videos you make are always a huge comfort of mine. Thank you for making them!
I really enjoyed the two of you taking turns showing the different items to the camera. It made me feel like I was a part of the experience and it’s great film-work! 🎉

Here in the united states, you're guaranteed a prize every 15 plates because you follow a hero that needs "5 plates" to power up twice to defeat the villain. I wish there was more variety in the sushi here tho! The ones in japan look so good.
We have Kura in the USA where i live. The plate game and characters are the same as the one you are visiting. No green tea or hidden compartments at the tables though. They have a wait staff come by and bring you drinks. It's more Americanized in that respect. Everything is conveyor belt system just like the one you are visiting too. It's a wonderful experience.
The second set off the fast conveyor belt looked like some of the best things, to my western eye, ever!
Japan has the best of everything. Perfect camera view of the table!
This is why I love Japan. This country always makes me feel amazing .😀

When I get a chance to travel to Japan, I will definitely be using your videos to guide my cuisine experience! This place looks like a lot of fun and super delicious
It's weird to see a place I've actually been to for once haha, Kura is really good here in the US

The perfect cut out for the plates to slide through was so satisfying to watch!
Kura is great I love how they always have different themes to gain prizes after 15 plates
These are my favorite videos from your channel!! This looks like so much fun
I love this channel, thank you Mr & Mrs Bacons you guys are great.
You two have the best videos!!! So fun, so happy!!! Thank you, Dancing Bacons!!!!!!
I would love to go here someday. Thank you so much for showing this.
I love these conveyor belt sushi videos!!!
The bacon and cheese sushi looked like something I would order in a heartbeat hahaha
The first pork sushi looked amazing. And the bacon one was just too cute. How fitting.
They just opened one here in Philly! Can't wait to check it out

It is worth it. I used to go weekly here in Ga. They are busy with long waiting lists. Weekdays are the best times
My friends and actually went to KURA in Orlando, Florida yesterday!! I was thinking maybe it's the same one, and it definitely is the same company! I had so much fun because I always wanted to go to a sushi conveyor belt restaurant like that after seeing them in your videos.

I didn't even think about this place having locations in the US! I just found one near me in Chicago, so I guess I know where I'm going this weekend
Her reaction at 5:58 when you stick the extra onions in your mouth made me laugh, big mood I also love onions
The Kura here in the US is like $3 a plate these days. Well at least one one here in Ga. I can only imagine how much the special orders like ramen tempura are. The concept is almost the same amd the seections are very similar as well.
it's crazy how cheap sushi is over there yet so expensive in the US 😭
👍😊❤. Truly enjoyable channel. Thank you. Blessings from Texas, USA. 👍👍
I was so happy to see you going to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant.
Hey miss bacon. I ate at one of those sushi belts that had a pack man game. 15 plates to get a pack man ball with prize. Pretty fun to see what you get. Sushi not bad either. Even ordered some tempura to finish the meal. Even the mocha balls with bean paste was tasty. Keep up the vids. Happy new year from the USA.
I have become so fascinated about Japan. They are so beyond in technological offerings than I ever realized. Definitely a bucket list location for me. Although the game played with the plates was a little odd lol.

I agree with you about Japanese technology. Have you seen the underground bicycle garage? I am not an expert with chopsticks can I eat with my hands like eating fried chicken?
Your videos are fun to watch and informative about the food and restaurants
I bet you that there must be at least 100 of these sushi restaurants that have unique services.
Was literally at a Kura last night here in Arizona, party of 5. Every single one of us got the Maki roll prize. Also our bill was $392 BUT we had fun and the food was very good! It was busy so the main belt was empty most of the time, so having the option to order was nice

Roughly $78 per person? I guess the only thing you’re paying for is the novelty of the revolving sushi. Doesn’t seem worth it to me when you can go to a sushi restaurant, get more sushi, and pay less.
Absolutely love this concept!
omg finally i know the name of this place! i went to one of the branches in Osaka but we never saw the name or could ever find it again in google maps, thank you a bunch for uploading!!
This video is the bomb! Wow! Really had so much fun watching it!
Thanks for showing the prices!! Looks very fun to go to
*"BEHOLD! THE HIGHER-END PLATES!!!"* ...$2.80 for the most expensive item, then 95¢ a pop from there! Man, I wish a place so delicious *and* affordable existed here.
Thank you for your great content.😀
Wow that woman can eat. She’s great. Love watching you two.
Wow looks so good!! Too bad we don't have this type of sushi restaurant here!
I’ll probably never get to travel so thank goodness for KZread and for DancingBacons!
Hi mate, I’m currently in Tokyo and your video helped me a lot, thanks!!!!
Thanks for sharing such a nice dining experience! Take care!
when I ever get the privilege to visit japan I will have to resist the urge to only go to one restaurant repeatedly. kura seems like a dream come true 🤤

I loved another great video of yours.
Wow it looks amazing. The food looks really good and I love that little game. Great content and a happy new year to you both 😊
I don’t like seafood very much (I’m picky with fish but I really wish my tastebuds liked it more) so I don’t tend to eat sushi (inari is the exception, fish free and delicious), but seeing that they add other meats like beef and pork and the best pork part, bacon, makes me really want to try that place out. Had my mouth watering 😂. Not to mention I would be super hooked on trying to win a gacha prize as well lol
love to watch you guys,,,please show more.,...that place was cool
Vent to a very similar place in Boston this past summer what a great idea for a sushi restaurant
Please do an AMA for all of us that have genuine questions of all the places you go. Absolutely love the videos, but still have some questions.
They're a chain here in the US. You have to eat 15 plates to win a prize, though some locations do offer you the chance to buy the prize if you want one but not spend $80 USD to get 15 plates. But it's still one of the cheaper places for Sushi. Plus some locations will have a server robot that brings you your drinks. I've even seen a few with a bar to order drinks while you eat.
So epic restaurant! I should go there some day.
Wow this is great! I would love to try this.
Oh wow, only $32! Here in the states that whole meal would’ve easily been at least $60. Great video as usual!

It will cost double or triple in the US. There are non-Kura rotating sushi bars in some places, they are better than the Kura US location I went to.
I always thought its pretty common for sushi conveyor belt to exist in Asia, since where i leave theres a a few sushi conveyer belt sushi restaurants. But we dont gave those gatcha toy games tho, idk maybe there is one where i live but i just didnt do research
As always, thank you for uploading! I look forward to more videos~!
your videos are so relaxing but they also make me hungry.
you win the game every 15 plates. The store staff told us.🤣
you guys are lucky that's ONLY the second time I've seen that fish game win!
Very cool restaurant, would be nice if they had those here where I live.
WOOOOW! Great prices and a good time. Yummy!
15:11 is that Hitoshi Matsumoto on TV in the back ? :D haha, sushi looks awesome !
What an awesome business model!.
This restaurant is a winner, you get to try all kinds of sushi with no fuss, they didn't bother with vegetables. The keychain was actually something I'd use.
Kura finally came to my city in America! The sushi is some of the best it’s so good!! I hope we get to see some cooler prizes soon

The Kura Sushi that we go to near Washington, D.C. area usually takes 15 plates to win a prize. Also, the price per plate for us is $3.30 USD before tax ($3.50 USD after tax). Green tea is also not complimentary. Only ice water.

Same high prices in Schaumburg, Illinois. Huge disappointment. But there was a different, non-Kura conveyor belt place nearby that is better. Look for an independent restaurant.
What a great 👍 idea to store condiment boxes in the table 👍👍👍👍👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Looks like a tasty meal 😋
i've tried this type of restaurant before in Las Vegas in the US, definitely wasn't as cheap but definitely worth the experience! but once i finally visit Japan i will try this one place for sure!
You guys are so cute! Happy New Year!
There's one of these places near where I live and they have a desert that is a deep-fried taiyaki with a scoop of french vanilla ice cream and it's the best.
Enjoy and always keep safe 🤗😊😇
It certainly looks like a fun experience
So amazing how Japan has advanced technology, wish America would have something like that
I love you guys and your videos rock
The Kura sushi I went had a little coupon inside the gachapon capsule which granted 1 play to a shooting game beside the cash register. Using the rifle with a rubber toy bullet, I managed to hit a target and win a tin of green tea powder!!
My favourite food is sushi, thank you for making me hungry and feel like I'm actually there😂👍 My favourite feature of the restaurant is the plate return system in the middle
We have a Kura sushi bar near my house in Texas, and i absolutely love it!
i wish where i live had this! all of canada needs you, kura sushi
I live in CA in the USA there is a Kura Sushi near where I live and it was a delight going there. The sushi wasn't under a dollar but was still very affordable (at least in comparison to other places) and was very yummy. The other food they sold there was great to! They even had a tetris collab recently that was pretty cute.
