A random vending machine selling propaganda, children's snacks, and dirty jokes. Somehow, it has recreated the experience of having a drunk uncle, all at a low price. What a deal!

I've got to say The guy who made these missed a great joke. On the first one, alcohol would have been hysterical. For the second one, a novelty vibrator
The video quality makes me feel like this is real and I walk the streets of Japan 🥹🔥

It's always a surprise with those mystery cans, isn't it? A dully baked muffin is definitely an unexpected find! It's the fun of the unexpected that makes these experiences memorable. Thanks for sharing your reaction!
I liked the 'enter here to get mugged' vending machine alcove.
The vending machines sure are odd,but it Japan we are talking about. This is one of the reasons i love this country, they make something that seems impossible into possible.Great video👍.

I got upset stomach after eating a meat & cheese snack at work that was bought at a supermarket. Buying a sandwich from a vending machine here would def put you in ER in best case scenario.

I've seen so many videos of this place over the years and nobody ever buys the beetle. It would be fascinating if someone could track down the owner and get him to agree to an interview.

That would be quite the story! It's intriguing that no one ever buys the beetle. An interview with the owner could definitely shed some light on that mystery.

Isn't Akihabra more of a Tourist Destination for most? Those Vending machine's in the corner seem like they are meant for folk's like that, But that is so cool to be honest with you. Honestly When you where showing off the Milk flavor's I'm curious what the I assume would be a lime flavored one er the Green carton would taste like. Honestly I love the idea of vending machine's like they have there in Japan, Shame stuff like that would be quickly broken here in the state's. But thank you for the video I enjoy watching your Stuff so much.

Ah, the legendary place with weird vending machines. Ive been here many times, got a few jars of random things.
Thank you for this great video. It's amazing what can be purchased from vending machines.
09:27 The legendary Haunted Vending Machines of Akihabara. I've heard about those. Some say that those who don't use exact change are doomed to a horrible fate. But most people say that's just stupid.
Thank you for another interesting trip😊 It's impossible to be bored with you🥰 I would love to try oden vending machine😋

Japanese packaging is indeed impressive! It's part of what makes shopping there so unique. People often keep the packaging as souvenirs. Thanks for noticing the details!
You always find quiet places to eat your snacks. I love it 😊
I'd definitely use the panda bread tin as a pen/pencil holder for my desk
So many unique Vending Machines! I wish I had them where I live now, would be SUPER useful to walk to a close one, and get a snack or a drink, or even a small meal! We'll never have that here where I am now though, They'd be vandalized or broken into or both far too often, at least in my current neighborhood. I am sorry you lost with those sus Vending Machines too! I was like "NOOOO DON'T DO IT!" when you were getting the boxes! The sandwich and soup you had looked AMAZING though! I also adored the Panda can! The Panda is my favorite animal! I ADORE them so so much! I can't wait to get moved to Japan for school, and also see and EXPERIENCE JAPAN for myself! Oh, before I forget, I announce your new videos every time one is out on my discord now, so my community can discover you! Thank you for another wonderful and amazing video, that was chill and great vibes as always! You are my most favorite content creator on KZread and an inspiration to me! Wouldn’t the meat vending machines require refrigeration to be safe to eat and then of course the ability to heat them up?

Pretty Creepy Vending Machines are The ones I Like best 😭 All Of them where nice though.
wow 😍
Vending machines in Japan are so cool. The mystery box machine is quite a gamble but at least you know it. Some vending machines, here in the USA, just rip you off by having expired food. Do you have zoos in Japan? I'd love to see a video of one.
Very cool.
the expensive part was the joke ;-)
Interesting.
Rewinding to try and read the dirty joke at 15:20, and seeing it's the most replayed part of the video. That's funny.
OMG, the vending machine with the stories is still there?!😄 Also; Maneki Neko Karaoke ( @18:30 )?? Aww hek yeah😁
0:53 - Is that Virtual On playing on the building? I haven't seen that game since I played it in my Dreamcast 20 years ago. If it's not that game series then it sure does look like it. I played a lot in the arcade back in the 90's, really enjoyed it.

Akiba is definitely on my bucket list.
I see all your videos and everything it’s snack jajajaa 15:39 it’s a funny moment hahahahaa
Fascinating. Thank you! I’d love to, but I live on the other side of the Pacific Ocean. I lived in Japan many years ago. It’s changed, yet it hasn’t.
augh id love to visit Akihabara in the future when i'm more financially stable, it seems like a great place to visit! i also would love to hit up Tokyo, Heard they have a Ensemble Stars Cafe there and Ensemble Stars is my favorite game and from the videos ive seen of the cafe it looks so cozy!
Vending machine factory here, Japanese people love vending machines, they purchase machines for everything. We sell a lot of machines for trading cards now.

Omg EJ!! You won't guess what happened to me... A pizza vending machine appeared in my town!! Did someone watch your video, and grab the idea? By the way, it's next to an outdoor laundrette vending machine, which some people might think is strange. But it works well and is popular! This is in the UK. :)

EJ I do have a question for you. What is the brown liquid soup with food floating in it available at come convenience stores? This was a total mystery to me when I travelled to Japan.
@experience_japan
28 күн бұрын
That's a great question! The brown liquid soup you saw is likely "oden," a popular Japanese winter dish. It typically consists of various ingredients like daikon radish, boiled eggs, and fish cakes stewed in a light soy-flavored broth. It's really tasty and a must-try during the colder months!

I saw a KZread video from a Canadian woman living in Japan who also bought a few of these mysterious boxes and she couldn't say what was written on them because it was x-rated 😂 and she also got the same animal cookies and I believe the cream collon biscuits. Whoever owns the machines must have a very weird imagination; to me it's a bit scary. 😳
I would buy everything.
Meat stored at room temperature makes me nervous!
Is there any way I can get the contact of these Japanese vending machine companies?
Omg that vending machine selling childrens snacks wrapped in adult jokes and propaganda is actually really hilarious like who is that even meant for

At 9:11 someone is speaking in swedish and talking about Sweden. 🇸🇪
Bro I'm so sorry I think you should probably cut the part of that 2nd letter bcuz ppl who are curious abt wt contains in the letter will google translate it and later regret it(I mean I didn't regret it as this kinda stuff is common in UK . But I do understand that the japanese culture doesn't promote this kinda stuff and I respect it )
Room temperature katsu is safe to eat after being inside the vending machine for who knows how long?

I wouldn't survive in Japan being an American... I'd be searching all around for a cheeseburger or tacos
Just not many vending machines here in the USA anymore. Mainly in airports and hospitals. And limited at that. Was much more 25+ years ago. I don't know how people in Japan stay so thin. I guess you walk more than we do. I have a feeling I'd be a fat American if I lived in your country 😂
Seeing Japan selling food in vending machines that you can buy without fear of winding up in ER with acute food poisoning really makes America look like 3rd world country….

It's interesting to observe different urban environments. Japan often has lower visibility of such social issues in public spaces due to various cultural, economic, and policy factors, including strong social cohesion and comprehensive welfare systems. It's a complex topic that involves many aspects of society. Thanks for raising this point!

I love seeing you buying food from the vending machines. I would definitely love to eat from one of the vending machines. Was you scared or worried about what was really in those packages? I don't like buying stuff that I don't know what it is. I've never heard of peach flavored milk before, I would give it a try. You didn't get any dessert, we have to have some dessert 🍰 .
