That all depends on what the impression is that your imagination puts you under with American girls/women because we don't know where you're coming from with that statement. So why don't we dig a little deeper and have you share some more detail on how you view American/Canadian girls if you are bold enough to do so. And the reason being is I have heard a few stories as to how a lot if not some European men view North American women. Well one could argue that it lacks a real hook. It’s a pretty basic run of the mill pop song for the time. It takes nothing away from her talent of course.

An absolutely awesome song mysteriously ignored by the critics and record buying public...this work easily equals and even exceeds the Bangles catalogue...

I had the pleasure of seeing this beauty live in ‘92 at a small concert and was literally 3 feet from her the whole concert!! Was just in a dreamland between her just Natural Beauty and her sexy voice!! Can still picture that night all these years later!! In my Heart Forever!!❤

Susanna was more of sweet type than sexy type of girl. There were just too many sexy singers and actresses, but Susanna she's one-of-a-kind. The cuteness and naughtiness in her timbre, which was so natural that you can easily tell she wasn't faking it, could always arouse people's desire to protect her. When she was in the band, the other three big girls were a great contrast to her cuteness. I guess that's part of the reason for her success as a member of the Bangles.

She was never in any scandals, or involved in trashy behavior, didn't hear about her being a drunk or druggie, which seems to be a ticket to fame and fortune these days. She was always a class act, and yes, she is the most beautiful woman I think I have ever seen, just look at that face! A real angel that came down to earth.

That fine piece of music is a true masterpiece i totally agree. Oh and those eyes. That look with side eye grabs my soul and will not release. Whenever i hear her solo or bangles work i get really choked up. On how from the 8)’s thru today. I worked 24/7 suporting my family.never had the time or money to catch a live show and hang around like a groupie. Now forced into early retirement i have all the time i need, but my ods of catching them live is shit to none. Maybe if they toured regularly i dont have the funds. Medical bils tok a big chunk of my retirement acounts. I had insurance but with just radiation treatments costing over 900k that alone was @ 200k of deductible 🥵🥵🥵👎🏻 love sue and herbandmates.i came so close to a dirt nap i suvived despite the dire predictions 👍🏻👍🏻😁🤟🏻.🍻my only remaining life wish is to meet and msybr share a drink with them -🌻🌼👍🏻👍🏻

This whole album is great. I listen to even to this day. Her voice is so rich...hopeful and heartbreaking at the same time.

When coming back from Desert Storm in 1991, right after the airplane took off, they showed a kind of "Welcome home. Here's what you missed while you were deployed" film. The first thing they showed was this video. Months of living in the desert with basically nothing...then Susanna Hoffs. Kind of sticks with you.

I miss these times. These wonderful times....

Had the biggest crush on this lady as a kid. Saw some recent photos of her and she STILL looks great.

I had the cassette as well. It was in the clearance rack, in the late 90's. I did know who Susanna Huffs was, but had to have it just for the picture on the cassette cover. It was called "When you're a Boy". I'm 65 now, and have seen lots of women in my life, but at this time, in the 90's, I have to say that Susana Hoff's is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.
