I’m still watching and listening to Susan’s Angelic voice in June 2021. Anyone else?

I remember this audition. I kinda hope people would learn to not judge people by the cover but in 2021 we are more divided than we were back then. Susan Boyle’s story will keep on inspiring.

It's funny, cuz we in the States don't even who know Elaine Paige/Page? But we sure do know and love Miss Susan Boyle. We love her!

Susan is so humble and appreciative. Maybe people judged her from her looks at the beginning but it proves never judge a book by its cover. You never know what or who will show up in your life and change it. People don't realize she suffers from depression and anxiety attacks. Not easy to do when you have to deal with it. Love you Susan

She was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, a high-functioning form of autism which makes social interaction extremely stressful and difficult for those suffering from it, and for her to have pursued her dream and pushed through in spite of it shows just how special a person she is. Her first performance on KZread will always be my favorite. I watch it to see the purity in those first five seconds. People were moved and an entire room of people were in one part and in a state of grace right with Susan. The joy in this moment will never be diluted for me.

Susan's voice has become more polished and refined when she performed the song again several months later after her first performance. I think even for Susan, the song now holds a new meaning for her because she offers more shades of meaning in her phrasing. It was a different cry for me the 2nd time because God allowed her to realize her dream and her life had gone full circle. Instead of changing with fame, Susan has become more of who God called her to be; providing joy and hope to the world through her talent no matter how late in life. God has blessed you Susan Boyle.

I'm in love with Susan's voice and musical talent since I've ever saw her on Tv. I admire her for the courage of showing up in front of so many people, ready to judge her - and she knew she'll be judged for stupid reasons also. That's why it took so much to come into this show. She's very sensitive and I guess it was hard for her all the way of Bgt. She has an amazing talent and I hope she'll share it with us all her life. I absolutely adore her. She is an amazing brave woman. When I'm feeling down I always go find her first audition, it brings me tears of happiness. She never gave up on her dreams, she never let fear completely conquer her and as we go in to 2022 MANY could learn from her incredible courage. It would have been so easy to stay in her quiet little home with her cat and hide, but she didn't...she DIDN'T. She inspires me to be FEARLESS and not give up!

It comes to those who wait

When Susan first walked out on that stage, I did a double take. She could have been my mum with her cheek and sassiness (I had lost my mum the Christmas before). Then I watched as people sat and judged her without even thinking about giving her a chance and I became defensive of Susan. I wouldnt have cared if she was awful, there was just something about her. Then she sang and it was an absolute delight to listen to her. Any time I see something about Susan, I will listen/read it as she is a massive inspiration to us as well as being beautiful and wonderfully talented. I will love this woman til the day I die xx

When I feel it is impossible for me to reach my goal in my profession, I look at Susan's audition and it feels like I can achieve my goal. I get a lump in my throat and start to tear up. She is my inspiration. I then know it can come true. Thank you Susan!

Today is May 17,2020, and I am so astonished by her voice. I was so happy she stunned Simon. Never judge a book by its cover. This is the best performance and will always be the best performance on America Got talent. Long live Susan Boyle!!!!

As I read your comment, it is January27, 2023, and Susan Boyle’s audition still amazes me. It takes me back to a querky lady simply marching onto the stage with such a purpose and presence. Then came that voice! I will never forget you, Susan Boyle🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

This was by far one of the most surprising auditions ever. The lesson learned never judge a book by its cover. Everyone was laughing in the beginning. She blew everyone away. What a voice. ❤

I Have always said there must be average looking people with incredible voices, that doesn't seem to get a chance, instead, we see a lot of singers with handsome looks, until Susan Boyle came along don't get me wrong, Susan, is beautiful, but she is more beautiful inside. Absolutely my fave audition ever!! Susan seems to b the most honest person... an she cares about her fans. She has kept her morals, and her belief in our Almighty God. Money is not first with her; she loves what she does and it shows. The only thing that bothered me in the AGT Champions was that her voice wasn't as loud....it's as if her voice coaches has her really enunciating her words, but that they may have told her to not b so loud. I love to watch Susan's Got Talent story over and over. It inspires me and brings me to tears every time. I would like to sing like her so very much. I hope she is over her emotional turmoil.

Every time I see her perform she literally lights up the air around her, and her voice always reminds me of a voice of a young child who has the whole life in front of her.

At the end, when she sings White horses.... I felt so calm, so relax... Her voice has this effect on me. She is amazing. I feel so calm deep inside me when I'm listeing to her.

It must be a real privilege to hear this wonderful and talented person sing in person! The first audition will always be my favourite because it was the first and biggest wake up call for literally everyone listening to her blessed voice! This woman is fantastic! She is the only famous, while at the same time humble person, I have ever known of! Hats off to you, Susan Boyle! You are precious!

I remember that night, working in night shift 9 or 10 years back alone in the office, clicked on this video on KZread. Frankly speaking I got goose bumps listening to her for the first time. And what a pleasure I get goose bumps even today listening to her... what a fabulous voice, crystal clear, just wow

This makes the internet worth all the bad that it brings. Watching her, watching everyone's reaction, listening to her voice is like watching and hearing God tell us all, "See, my children, you don't have a clue." Thank you Susan Boyle.
