Actually the fight coreography was quite terrible, with Rocky taking a bunch of hits at the beginning, with no defence whatsoever, only to rebound later and win the match. In reality any of those hits would have landed him face down on the canvas.

Rocky reminds me a lot of my dad, he was a bodybuilder and these Rocky movies make me feel that my dad is alive there, my unfortunate father died of terminal cancer 10 years ago, today I am 18 years old and every time I watch movies or I listen to songs from these times, they remind me of him and to feel that he is there, alive, I miss him very much and I hope that in another life I can meet him again. :')

My ex broke up with me since i was “too big”... i use this as motivation to go to the gym. I have now gone from 240 to 163

"I must break you." I love how Stallone is at once the epitome of both ego and humility. He wrote, produced, and acted in these self-glorifying movies on an international stage, yet his outlook, interviews, and movie character is authentically humble amd inspiring.

I miss the 80s very much. I was blessed to see great movies and great music. These days are long gone and unfortunately will never come back. RIP CARL WEATHERS

80s were the golden era for music and movies. It was a worldwide phenomenon. In India too we feel very much the same. That decade was the most creative in all aspects, whether it be science, technology, or the performing arts. I feel lucky to have grown up in that decade. Political changes were the most significant with the end of coldwar and the collapse of the communist regimes. Millions of people were liberated. The 80s are simply unforgettable.😊

Jonas Stalpaert 80's and 90's movie stars benefited from the acting and traditions laid down by the previous generations. The kicker was the increasing power of computers (think Steve Jobs at his famous press conference unpacking the first MAC computer out of the box) which allowed special effects to be taken to the next level. Nowadays the movie industry is dominated by big corporations which are more interested in marketing their movies to China (1 billion consumers helps) for profit. The internet has made TV competitive with the movie industry now so a lot of talented writers are writing for TV mini series instead of movies.

Rocky Balboa... that's what every boy and man should strive to be. He is a role model. Never give up, never believe you can't, always stand tall, with your chin up and an unshakable will power and discipline. The 80's are the reason why our parents are way tougher and more resilient than us.

What a fantastic movie!!! I am still thrilled in 2018!!!

The story behind the rocky movies that Sylvester never gave up on his script and wouldn't give up until someone accepted to make the movie with him as lead role then when he got paid he bought his dog back just makes me love the rocky series even more rocky 4 is my favorite and the movie really show the don't give up even against the odds. Thank you rocky for teaching something about life not some bs rip offs, remakes and cliche shit the show nowadays. Unfiltered masterpieces always get to my heart.
