This was a fantastic exit interview. I really appreciate how she owned her game and gave the others who kept her on the outs props. Didn’t make excuses or hold grudges, very classy.

Lovely to watch J. Maya laugh about her time on the show. Yes it was short lived (and a bit unfortunate) but the kid in her and the viewer in her definitely enjoyed "soaking it all in" as the first half of the season played out on TV. The way it happened, that was just spectacular. Call it "dumb luck" for the shot in the dark to work, but it made for an epic Tribal that she can proudly say she was a big part of. Like Rob said, she is going to go on to do many amazing things. We have seen Andrea's career flourish and I have no doubt J. Maya's will as well!

It’s actually crazy how unlucky poor j was the person she wanted too work with quits picks a rock too be on the team going up against a stacked team and than having the shot in the dark work

Exactly this!! She got incredibly unlucky.

I think J’s exit makes her edit make a lot more sense. She had some great secret scenes never shown and was generally under edited. The producers didn’t want someone the fans would be rooting for to go home from a 1/6 chance. If Kaleb had gone from the shot I’d guess J gets a better portion of the confessionals. Unfortunate cuz J seems great and would’ve loved to see more but ultimately makes sense.

Wow she seems like a really great person. Not sure why Reba hated her 😂

J is such a delight! So sad to see her go, but hope we see much more from her in the future. She would make an awesome podcaster, too! So well spoken, analytical, warm, and just wonderful!

Good interview, there was clearly some context missing in the edit from the first few days that explained why J was on the outs with her original tribe. Im glad she has a positive attitude about it all.

After every RHAP exit interview I’m left wanting the exiting player to play again

Honestly I'd love to see her on a second chance season if they do a new era returnee season. I feel like she never really got the chance to play and I don't really understand why she didn't have anyone to work with. She's smart and has the right head for the game and clearly the resilience to keep going, but with a little experience under her belt and maybe some different strategy, she could really be a player. I think with just one person working with her, she could have really gotten something going. Love you J!

Like J a lot too but if they do a second chance and a pre merge from this season is on it I bet it's be Sabiyah but id love an overall pre merge season

What a great interview! I really liked J. Her energy always translated well both on the episodes and in this exit interview! I’m glad she was able to look back and enjoy it as a fan!

I really like Keleb but seeing J couldn't get into the merge is heartbreaking. And I do like Emily too. Ughh this episode hits hard!

Steps to guarantee your idol stays hidden: -Place the idol in the bottom of a hole -Fill the hole halfway with sand -Poop in the hole -Fill the hole the rest of the way with sand Sifu’s a genius!!

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet but the string around the shot in the dark scroll was the same color as the new tribe buffs - and we've seen in the past that different scrolls can have different color strings.

Jay is a sweetheart, even more than what they showed. Still don’t get why they targeted her but maybe it’s because her bubbly personality

She is delightful!

Even after that tough elimination for her, she remained graceful. Second chance for J.!!!

I was so upset when I saw the "safe" because I feared the worst and it came true. I didn't want to see J gone because she was my #1 pick to win, she is very attractive, smart, loyal and it wasn't her time! J is such a wonderful person and I hope she gets an opportunity for All Stars. Great interview

Song title would be hit by a shot in the dark

Why didn’t Rob ask J why she didn’t throw a vote on Emily or someone else during the initial vote? Did she think Kaleb wouldn’t play his SITD or would definitely roll “not safe”? Seems like a gross oversight for a player like J Maya.

I like her. I hope she returns in the future. Things just didn't fall her way this time around.

This interview made me love J and make me want her on a returnee season! She got incredibly unlucky, from Sifu lying to the rest of Reba in Ep1 to Sean quitting to ending up on the wrong mergitory tribe, to the shot in the dark. If she truly got the chance to play, I think she could be one of the greats!

3 people quit 3 people who should have left have been saved by a person who was too weak to play this game. Horrible casting.... They were all from the yellow team. Lulu got screwed!

@@NadiaX01 he wanted to quit at tribal, he basically was ready to go home, he knew he didn't belong there. It may not have been as big of an out right quit as the other two but it was still a quit. Kaleb and Sabiyah were screwed by getting placed in Lulu. Also to be frank Kaleb and Drew are about the only two likeable people left in the game.

I'm saddened to see her voted out like that bc I feel like, she's only good 1 from Reba (Dee's da worst, I'd vote her out day 1 or after that "long big toe revealed" (🙊🤯)??!! J was 1 of my favorite🙁.

I don't know if anyone else has suspected this yet, but I believe it is very possible the production gave Kaleb all "safe" scrolls because they don't want to loose him

What did she do that showed she tried too much? We don't really see any reason that her own tribe is gunning for her so hard. If anything, it just shows she's a bit unaware of the game around her, but she didn't try too much. To be fair she was able to convince them not to vote for her and vote for Kaleb, but the shot in the dark was just really unlucky for her

I mean everything she tried actually would have have worked for her if not for the unlucky circumstances. She convinced her tribe to vote out sifu but Sean quit and then she gets Caleb vote out with 11 votes votes but he got lucky with the shot in the dark
