I think a twist where they do have to vote someone out at final 4 would be amazing and reminiscent of the Micronesia Amanda/Ceri/Parvati twist. Imagine the Reba drama.

A 4 member alliance isn’t guaranteed to win the F5 immunity challenge. Katurah/Jake winning immunity and forcing Reba to cannibalize themselves would make great tv

@@solomonrivers5639 That doesn't seem likely though. They have never even been close to winning. Julie and Austin are better at endurance, Drew is better at puzzles and Dee is all around more athletic. Anything can happen, but it would be a miraculous victory. I find it more likely Jake or Katurah finds an idol.

I live for Stephen saying "hobnobbing with the glitterati" 😂 I look forward to it after any live show lol

Julie is an estate attorney, not exactly savage lawyer reveal if she gets to the end. I’ll never understand how no one questioned her on making a livable income as a single mom “teaching art from her home” 😂

So glad we still get a Know It Alls episode this week! And yes, Shannon and Omar did great on Wednesday. I love to hear Shannon talk Survivor. The way her mind works! She’s quite a know it all herself. And Rob you are the best Survivor Rob to me!

I'm only about 10 minutes into the episode of this podcast so far and it's already great lol. I love Rob, AKA Jimmy, and Stephen talking about Survivor! I thought the same as Stephen though when Rob said, "can we get into this," or whatever. Like we were going to go way off topic and talk old stories of Survivor only to have Rob walk off camera lmao

I agree Fishbach. I think it’s possible that Katurah’s story could have been being weighed down by Bruce only to rise to the surface after Bruce’s vote off. She talked about studying this game and waiting to make moves when the time was right. Bruce was the source of Belo’s downfall, and Katurah clocked that from the jump. It would be a very unorthodox winning edit, but this is the New Era and it’s replete with unorthodox edits. I wouldn’t rule out Katurah’s chances. Erika didn’t fully take control until 7 and Maryanne didn’t make her big move on Omar until 6. Around this time, nearly everyone counted Gabler out……then he won. I’d say Dee is the favorite right now, but Katurah is definitely creeping up as the next likely contender.

1:02:00 reminds me of a quote I heard from Mel Brooks: "If you're going to go up to the bell... RING IT."

Knowing the puzzle solution, you’d be hard pressed to do that in like one minute. Three is possible but you better not make a mistake.

It feels like a Cochran situation with this vote out. Would not be surprised to see Emily come back and win.

The only Survivor podcast/after show I want to hear. I’m sure the live shows are Great for RHAP, but it’s rough waiting this long to hear from Rob and Stephen…..mrs Greg

Don’t forget …. Julie probably also feels we helped Austin and Drew find that idol so she definitely has some ownership.

Austin giving the idol in the first place was really dumb…he legitimately thought there was going to be some weird 3 way split at tribal?! Where he also wouldn’t be present to play it himself for her? Pretty weird logic

Sorry Rob, but I disagree with forcing people to play on those treks. Especially since the rules state that if we can't pick someone ourselves, we have to draw a rock. The player should always have as much agency as possible.

It’s just that his story doesn’t line up with a winner :) his sob story was put in a secret scene and seen as the weakest Reba by everyone on the island. Hope this helps :)

I think the take regarding Julie taking ownership of the idol play over Dee is not great. If the two were in final tribal I could see Dee very easily explaining how that was her play, and Julie just did what she told her to do. I don't think the jury would just totally ignore Dee's side of it.

I think what makes a Reba victory this season so unsatisfactory is that there is no arc to speak of. They came in, did well, kept doing well, and ended doing well. That is just not a satisfying story even if the game play is totally valid.

I feel like we’ve been given several hints that there will be no fire making this season.

We could potentially see a two person rock draw next episode if Drew votes with Jake and Katurah, and Austin plays his idol. If one of Austin, Dee, or Julie were to win immunity, then Austin could just play his idol and then the three of them would be bulletproof. But if Jake wins immunity, and Austin plays his idol: The votes could go on say Drew and Julie, and then Dee and Katurah would have to draw rocks if nobody flips.

I guess I'm missing something big. Doesn't Drew still have his safety without power? Did he lose it forever in the split tribe tribals, or did it expire and I forgot? I was thinking he was fine next week because he had that advantage, but it's looking like I'm wrong lol.

Hate to see Emily go! Why didn't Drew tell Emily about Julie's Idol or at least throw a vote on someone else if he knew she was going to play it? Drew was gunning for Julie and knew that she found out and was going to play the idol. If you wanted Julie gone he could have done it?... also Dee is the only one that got EXACTLY what you wanted last night

Conflict averse. Also think people place way too much on voting correctly. Give me Devins random vote on Dr Mike everyday

They probably wouldn't have targeted her if she didn't have the idol.

Jake is winning this, I am certain! I feel like I'm going crazy that nobody else sees it. THE FIVE VOTES HE NEEDS ARE ALREADY ON THE JURY!!

Remember Drew still has the power where he can just leave tribal council not sure when that expires
