Agree! 45 has great characters

I would love for Drew to come back, maybe for a Second Chance 2 type season, thought his thought process on moves/the game was very logical and savvy

He comes off WAY more charismatic and likable here than he did in the edit. I worry that they pigeon holed him as the “cold emotionless nerd.” It seems he’s way more of a well-rounded, and complete player than that.

Drew is just so good, such a compelling narrator even now post game. So well spoken, one of the best 45 standout characters. Cant wait to see him in future RHAP cuz I just know this is not the last we will see of him on this channel. Sorry u couldnt clinch the W, Drew!

So when you get voted off you stay on the island until the end? So this is Drew at his home after the game has finished but the episodes are still playing on for the viewers? I don’t understand because here he said he just got voted off the night before??? So where’s Drew at in this interview?? Is he on the island still?

Yeah the game was from the summer and the vote offs go to a resort and wait as each new person voted off joins them and then they get to final 3 and the next day everyone goes back to US. So this is drew now at his home months later and he is referencing himself in the episode airing last nite @@qhpainters

​@rudychamorro5812 Drew said 'last night' referring to when the episode of him going home aired - in reality they are all now months removed from the filming of the season. And yes cast members stay on the island for the duration of filming - Drew will appear on the jury next episode - but these exit interviews are filmed the day after the episode airs, not the day after they are actually voted out.

I would love to see Drew in future RHAP breaking down an episode of survivor because he is so good at tracking the little details and nuances in all of these plays. Can’t believe he wanted to go to rocks though, couldn’t be me!

This season has such a good cast and I feel we really got to know them all very well which makes the game so much more entertaining

Drew definitely played overconfident the last two rounds but I feel like more than him not playing bad, it was Austin who sunk Drew’s game more. To have your number one disregard you for love must have been a tough pill to swallow for Drew.

Drew should’ve covered his bases especially when Austin, Dee & Katurah went to the reward. He didn’t even try to strategize with them even if it was fake. He got too relaxed & it partly cost him the game. He should’ve been making connections with other players.

It makes total sense to target Julie at 7, everyone was on board. It was ultimately Austin’s showmance that got in the way of that vote.

Loved drew on the show,

Gosh. I can’t believe how much of a great speaker this guy is! When it comes to analogies he like, literally raised the bar.

Drew really grew on me over the season and I was rooting for him to win! I hope he can become a regular on the podcast after this season!

My fav of season45❤ mainly bc of his great strategic strength and his brilliant communication talents, besides such a lovely character/personality himself! still such great pleasure listening in on him now outside the game! Really look forward to more deep dives with Drew for future seasons.

unfortunate for Drew's game honestly, the showmance really screwed him over. Worse than that Austin is now at the bottom ,and Dee can get voted out because of him, and their relationship. Drew should have been voted out maybe top 5 or top 4. He should have turned on Dee honestly sooner

I know people get down on so-called GameBots but, I love listening to someone intelligently talk about something they're passionate about. I also love a great vocabulary so even though I understood simulacrum, in context, I went to look it up anyway, just to make sure I knew the word. I look forward to a long form interview, with Drew, sometime in the spring.

My favourite player this season! Sad to see him go, but I would have done it too if I had been on the beach 😂 Great strategy, loyalty, and super funny too!

Drew - you were good to watch this season and contributed to the dynamism of the game. Survivor needs memorable characters who drive the game forward (whether through strategy or other means).

This felt like drew was using this Interview to cast himself as a regular in the RAHP-verse.

AND/OR fanfiction about how Austin played his idol but he played it for his buddy DREW instead of himself! There'd better not be any sign of KATURAH and JULIE on the Final Three at Tribal Council or else... nah, I'll just be internally fuming. I wonder how long it will take for the website I watch Survivor on to give me the Season Finale... and Reunion... could FINALLY watch the episode TODAY even though it wasn't the usual website I always watch the show on.

Really liked Drew but the Roger Sexton call out was craaaazy

Drew was screwed by Austins showmance this is true. When things were getting ready to be crazy blind side- Austin had to run to Dee and Tell ALL. But when tables were turned we didnt see Dee running to Austin to tell All. But they kind of left that clift hanger cause they were sitting on the beach and Austin asked Dee who she was voting for and it cut the scene. So maybe she did?? Really dont know cause of how this weeks episode was edited. And Dee swore on her mama she didnt tell Julie. I dont see Austin ever doing that to Dee cause he cared for her too much to lie to her face. But i mean i guess it is Survivor. But i really enjoyed Drew & Austin friendship. And i loved the whole season so far too. Drew is so super smart & strategic. Really i keep saying Dees running the show but it started with Austin and Drew running the show first.

Funny how they said Drew was the Cesternino and his game was greatly impacted negatively by the Romber-esque showmance of the season.

I totally agree with him that splitting votes rarely (these days) works. People are WAY too afraid of idols. Yul never even had to play his. People were so afraid to just "give him a freebee" (i.e. he would negate all his own votes and choose who to boot) that instead they handed him the win. NUT UP! Make them play it early! OK, so somebody catches a stray and goes home. Surely that's better for the collective than letting an idol dictate the rest of the season!

It's funny though because in his specific situation, splitting the vote would've been the better option for him two episodes ago. He literally knew Julie had an idol and had a feeling she knew she was going to play it. Splitting the votes would've kept Emily and possibly saved his game

It’s interesting that he said he wanted it to be an interesting season… I think cast is amazing, I’m lowkey cheering for everyone & production is fixing all the issues in the new era so that’s great, but strategically this is the most bored I’ve been w survivor in recent years?? It’s like what Jake keeps repeating, the dog piling & everyone agreeing on votes is not true survivor. I feel like unanimous votes are bad bc ppl aren’t playing their own game, they think everything is fine bc they’re in on the vote until they’re bottom of the alliance & it’s their time to go! I think part of the problem was taking votes away after the merge bc then ppl couldn’t switch it up or do what was best for them, but again I like everyone’s story & production, but strategy has been so! so! frustrating!!

Why didnt he use his advantage where he was allowed to leave tribal if he was feeling nervous at tribal? like he could've bought another week with it. Was it too late to use? I can't fully remember the details of it.

Why does Drew think his edit was bad? I really enjoyed him. Now…Bruce he got a bad edit 😅 Emily got a great edit. Jake is getting a bad edit. Kellie got a great edit. Drew was a great narrator for the season. He will be missed

i enjoyed drew a lot. great speaker and unfortunately was always the bottom of the 4 person alliance. without being a challenge threat, winning was always gonna be tough for him after dee & austin became soulmates or whatever

Love Drew! I was rooting for him, Emily, and Austin for final 3. But Austin messed it up because he was stupid with dee. I lost a lot of respect for Austin cause of that. So Drew and Emily are my favorites.

Dee not telling Austin about the plan of voting out Drew showed she cared more about $$$ that’s not good going forward with their relationship, honesty is very important

He was also an idiot not to get his idol back right after the tribal council the night he gave it to Julie. It’ll be interesting to see what happens next. I personally don’t like Dee’s personality but she would be a worthy winner.

This is the problem with gamebots: they think that their set strategy is the optimal way to play so they assume other players will follow their way of thinking. Drew thought the bottom feeders and Dee would have the same path to the end as him… even though it would’ve resulted in his win. He gives me majorrrr sore loser vibes.
