The Fairlane is a beautiful car.
When I was little my neighbor got one of these monsters. The engine sounded like the apocalypse. Everything about the car was PERFECT. I miss it.
Back in the day my grand mother in the early 80s had a 66 fairlain 500 with a 289 auto, I used to drive her to the hair dresser once a month for a trim! Then take it out an blow the carbon out of it and stop back and take her home! All black with red interior, she gave it to my cousin he wrapped it around a utility pole, I could have killed him!!!!
I have never seen a Ford Fairlane at any of the car shows I've attended over the years. My Dad had a 1967 Fairlane 500. It was a beautiful car - seafoam green, I believe (looks just like this one).
very nice car! the engine is barely broken in with that low mileage. would love to have it!
I had 66 GT 390 4 spd that lost a battle with a bridge. That resulted in a 67 500 with 390 2bbl auto that lasted 11 years and 160k miles.
