Surviving the Hungry Wolves: Exploring the Hidden World of my Earth Shelter
Hi! I continue to build an earthen shelter in the woods. This time I started making the 4th wall, installed a window, made an entrance, installed a stove, and completed the bed. My shelter is almost complete and ready for winter. There are wolves walking near my shelter, a dangerous predator, I saw them for the first time. Me a encantado leer en otros comentarios que planeas expandir la cabaña , me encantara verlo !! As pensado en la posibilidad de instalar un baño quimico como los que llevan las autocaravanas o los que se utilizan en los campings ?? No estaria mal hacer popó con tranquilidad y estando calentito en plena nevada y a menos 30 grados !! 😅😂😂😂😂 Tambien podrias añadir como hizo alex wild en su cabaña y hacen en las casas en yakutia ( he visto documentales jaja ) un fregadero que se alimenta con nieve que con el calor que se genera en la casita se va derritiendo y con eso puedes lavarte tu y tambien lavar los platos !! 😊😊😊
Me a encantado ver que tu si utilizas la cabeza en lugar de armar la pared y despues hacer el agujero para la ventana como muchos otros hacen , no trabajas 2 veces y lo haces directamente !!! Nice video of a wonderful shelter. To keep wolves away keep a fire going outside your shelter using very long logs that burn all night. Have bear spray with you. Keep food high up in the trees and out of the shelter. Also bowls of white vinegar outside the shelter will help keep them away.

Good suggestions. I would add that it's helpful to mark your territory all around the shelter with your scent and continue to expand those boundaries over time.

Welches Tierheim? Für was für Tiere und mitten im Wald der falsche Platz. Hunde brauchen Auslauf, Katzen ihre Räume und wo und wie wollen sie die Tiere neu vermitteln? Wie sollen die Menschen Sie mitten im Wald finden?

☕️A Good Morning to you! How wonderful that the last wall has come into place. Cute little window just enough to peek out and see what’s out there. I’m anxious to see the door go up next. +Однако окно, на мой взгляд, низковато. Оно скоро окажется большей частью под снегом и поэтому через него будет проходить маловато света и может подтекать талая вода. К тому же видно из него будет в основном сугроб)) Или там по плану будет вторая комната?

why do you need a large window in a small shelter?

Will you be adding another room to your dugout shelter? Is it safe to burn a stove so close to the wooden wall? The little window is just enough to see out when sitting, without having to stand. And it will give a little light. How near to your shelter were the wolves playing?

In the spring I will make a second room, I will insulate the wall a little, this will protect against fire, wolves have left traces in many places within a kilometer radius

Olá Ruslan , referente aos lobos 🐺 , eu no seu lugar colocaria armadilhas pois esses animais não se brinca ,eles são perigosos e quando você chegar a perceber eles te cercam e te matam , portanto faça muitas armadilhas e se pegar algum lobo ,vende a pele no Alaska o povo faz muito disso, mas cuidado para não se esquecer onde elas estão ok , e referente a sua janela : concordo com o comentário de uma pessoa aí ,o gelo vai cobrir sua janela 🪟 e você ficará sem visualização externa ,ela é muito pequena e muito baixa ,e cadê sua porta? Com todos esses animais selvagens andando por aí coloca logo essa porta 🚪 e bem grossa e resistente,bjs 😍👈

A porta estará pronta em breve, não sou caçador para lidar com lobos, dei informações sobre eles aos guardas florestais, eles vão encontrá-los o mais rápido possível
La ventana tenia que ser puesta mas arriba,con un pocos de nieve queda tapada.....gran error...

Quitar la nieve es cuestión de minutos, no veo ningún problema.
Diciamo carina ma puoi far meglio.. con meno fretta di finire e più attenzione ⚠️ ai particolari.. la finestrella sembra piccola.. un po' storta.. in basso.. e ai lati va isolata.. mi fermo qui ma apprezzo la buona volontà ❤

la finestra non è stata ancora installata completamente, quindi è storta, in futuro questo muro si dividerà con la seconda stanza, quindi non ha senso fare una finestra

Every time I go into the woods I take two things automatically with me I take bear spray and I take my handgun. And for the wolves my handgun would’ve been used first
