On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

GS is not only a great fighter pilot but also an excellent video director. His videos allow us to visually understand the combat and the tactical discussion at the end showing the ribbons for the aircraft as they duel is exactly what I want to see. Hats off to GS for these videos.

"Ok so today we're on foot, about to merge with a Fiesta hatchback..."
This is probably the highest level of skill I have ever seen from GS in the F-14, maybe of all time You continue to impress us all 👏

50 year old tech, literally about to tear itself apart, can come out on top against the the most (known) advanced tech available, is not only incredible, it's a testament of American aerospace engineering, and the ability of kick ass pilots to "know their plane". Oh man that Tacview debrief was elevating. I had an idea of what high-aspect or low-aspect shots were on paper along with one and two-circle fights, but the visual demonstration of what they were really helped solidify it in my head. Thanks for that!
This just shows how deadly the F-14 was and still is. The fact it even got a win is nearly unbelievable not to mention that flat spin recover!!
That has to be one of the best dogfights I've seen yet. Missed opportunity, yes, but still damn great flying. Especially the recovery from the jet wash on the 1st match.
Survive getting shot down low altitude by an F22; only to be killed by a Honda Civic.
The replay of the f14 recovering from the spin then fly over the falling F22 is probably the most epic thing I've seen on here
Low altitude recovery out of the wake turbulence, _AFTER_ shooting down over $100 million more airplane than you were flying. I almost stood up and clapped.
holy hell those wake turbulence moves
The recovery of that jet wash was insane! Especially at that low altitude.

LOL never thought the Top Gun Flat Spin because of Jet Wash could be true
One of the best videos that you have ever made. I really enjoyed the tac view analysis. Thank you so much for explaining all of this.😊
Holy sheet GS, that first fight was incredible.
I loved the little on-foot shenanigans after the eject at the end of round 2, funny and enjoyable! Keep up the great work!
Does the rattle of the Tomcat remind anyone else of the bus they took to school that always seemed like it was just about to fall apart?
I watch the new video every day even though I've never played on DCS and probably never will. I'm sure if that's normal or not but I enjoy watching
Man everything about that from the mis-selected weapon to the flat spin recovery against an f22....this...is probably my favorite video now.
I absolutely LOVE those kind of tacviews in your videos GS. I instantly feel like hopping into my f16 and doing some dogfights. As always, great video man, you continue to deliver amazing content time and time again. Much love from Poland

Air Combat 95 A difficult battle
I have found your videos to be so educational and I've learned a lot about BFM from your detailed breakdowns. Would love to see a video from you that goes into the details of piston BFM vs jet BFM.
I think it’s amazing that you literally pulled a move from the OG Top Gun that’s actually called “flat plating the bird” which uses the entire aircraft as an air brake dumping your speed and energy in a hurry. It’s almost impossible to anticipate and will almost always force an overshoot, unless the enemy pilot has god level reflexes and pulls off a high yo yo defensive maneuver which would keep him on your six.
In that first round when you started to flat spin your nose pointed at the f22 and I love to think he was watching you fly alongside him while pointing your nose in severe code brown
Thanks for bringing back the debrief man, much appreciated.
F22: What the hell, im the scariest thing in the air since the cretaceous period and granddads kicking my ass. F14: I'm old, not obsolete
A not so subtle reminder for us all. Look both ways before crossing the street. And give the driver a break. He just saw a F14 destroy his house. He was a little distracted and emotionally distraught.
Seeing the Dogfight in tacview in post with the explanations, I can't help but want a dogfight 101 series lol (full well knowing there are old videos covering some stuff). Wonderful explanation as a new subscriber, and very informative. 👍
I’ve been watching and enjoying the dogfights but today you explained everything so clearly. I had no idea what 1 or 2 circle meant or looked like until today. Bravo on the primer
That was one of the best flat spin recoveries I've ever seen
Gotta love the way, even though it wasn't on purpose, you pulled some f22 like moves after killing the f22 insult to injury
Really Appreciate the TacView debrief GS! I learned a lot and now I can enjoy your content even further with this knowledge :) Kinda had to "go with the flow" with all these terms thrown about in your videos for a while now but not anymore 😅
9:28 Love watching the fights like this, we see all the jets movements! Great Video 👍
An F14 taking down a Raptor really is one of those "yo, Adrian...I DID IT" moments. 😂
Outstanding vid! Imagine being the guy just trying to fish off his boat and seeing this around him! I love these DCS details.
6:31 Maverick's fears becoming true 😂
That must be one of the most funny deaths in game, getting hit by a car. I hope that makes it into a highlight.
Now you have me thinking about offset two circle when I’m mowing the lawn. I circle a small tree, can’t mow close all the way around so I off set a little to circle back close on the other side of the tree. Same with finishing off the center of the lawn. Flying the Cub Cadet, not an F-14
That recovery was so inspiring, I'm amazed at your skill GS
Amazing video and explanation. Somehow your videos are still getting better and better. Keep it up!
As always love your tacview reviews. I mentioned in a previous community post how much I’d love to see a video going over tactical maneuvers like rolling scissors and such and more technical stuff of the sorts not so much the terminology which you’ve reviewed before with One&two circles, notching, Fox1-3. It seemed like a good amount of other folks were interested as well!
OMG, the road kill, that was awesome. Thanks for the debrief at the end too!
Thanks for the tacview debrief on this one! Definitely needed to help understand offsetting the circles.
Love the in depth tac view break downs at the end!
Enjoyed the review at the end, nice way to learn.

Golden nuggets of information, keep em coming. I love how the F14 rattles away like an old car showing its age. Great fight 👏
That was a great explanation there for that fight. Great tips.

Thanks for the tacview, I learn so much from your explanations.
The boat captain be like: "Oh, nice, an airshow!"
wow just wow, i had to rewatch that first fight a few times that was the most amazing flat spin recovery ever and a cool finish to the fight!
That was the 1st jet wash I have seen you fly through ever !! That was cool
love your content! I'm currently stationed on Guam and have kept on watching the ground to see where you're maneuvering over more than the actual fighting in the last few videos, haha.
Thank you so much for illustrating how circles work :3
Talk about Steks' dedication in that last fight. Shoots down F-14 only to re-spawn in a car to finish off the pilot. 🙂
That first kill would make goose proud lol rip goon2soon
Amazing! Thank you for this.
03:20 - that guy on the boat is like "What is going on here? Are they giving me honors circling around me like that or what?"
Wow didn't expect that car to run you down. Awesome having the tac view back thank you. That was some great flying in the first round. I still recommend F-4 vs Bandit Unknown 4 rounds.
Great analysis! Thank you.
I think all those times you shoot ahead with the F 4 are finally paying off.
that first battle had to be the dirtiest most badass kill ive ever seen. Not only did you kill him with your planes wake, but you survived his and started breakdancing in his face moments before his death. im not sure there will ever be a greater kill.
1:07 "If you were waiting for the opportune moment, that was it" 😂
dude that was awesome. This video made me happy.
Great explanation at the end. Thank you
Tacview is awesome, keep em coming! good debrief to the fight

Thank you for the lesson. I don’t even play the simulator but very much enjoy watching your educational videos
Dang that first fight was amazing Winder! Awesome Video.
excellent explanation of the 2 an 1 circle fight , thank you
Bro really said in that first round "its not about the plane but about the pilot"
Awesome lesson at the end, thank you.
GS - That jetwash effect built into DCS - phenomenal! It was something to see. Good recovery. Oh yeah, I always thought you should spray and pray - just bursting on the trigger before they reach the recticle - letting them fly though the rounds and catch some.
