Omni is my favorite! I feel real bad for Ptera though. It got hit the worst by the new stam system... It's such a cool dino in theory, being able to fly is great, but they've made it so difficult/boring to actually play when you have to wait so long and so often for stam to regen

Yeah Omni is a lot of fun, it also got hit hard with the update, hopefully next patch it'll fix it. But yes, PT is pretty useless, you can really kill anything and you spend a lot of time sitting for stam. But damn the views are nice.

And the new nightvision sucks especially hard for ptera as well. You're completely blind at night. Like who though that would be a great idea? A bird that can't see where it's flying?

Ptera actually used to be good. Stamina regen was quicker and you could see well at night. They ruined it.

Pteranodon WAS my favorite because it’s stamina used to be 10x better in the times of spiro, I still love him, but the new stamina is too brutal to play him all the time

New stam is rough for PTs, you spend so much time sitting now

Ptera was my main dino back on Spiro. But since Gateway it got bad stam and "nightvision" (you can't even really call it that) just made it impossible to play right now.😢 I really hope they fix my beloved birdie soon. Great video mate.🫶

Yeah PT was a lot of people's main, unfortunately they've made it almost unplayable, but fingers crossed they change it. Thank you, glad you enjoyed it.

I honestly reckon that's what best about PTs

I cant play because I have no computer but watching pteranodon gameplay made it my favorite, nowadays though I get nothing from watching pteranodon gameplay because nobody has fun anymore. People used to flock around and have nests and stuff but now it's depressing lonely gameplay of people suffering.

That's a pretty good summary of PTs They used to be really popular, but after the Stam nerf, barely anyone plays it anymore.

@_Brendan.Jeff_ Yeah, and their main usage prior to this was exploration and building families or just goofing around, which was so adorable. I enjoyed seeing the mouse sized baby birds slowly turn into these big goofy fake dinosaurs. Literally why are the nest babies so small, I hope they never change that.

Unless they changed it, you should be able to cling to a tree and swallow the food in your mouth. Instead of rushing off to find a safe, flat space to land/waste stamina!

Honestly PT is a vibe, even with the Stam changes to it, it's still awesome to just fly around on, you can watch and see so much from it too. Haha yeah I feel you there.

would 100% reccomend cera if you haven't already tried it out, not only is it broken but it's one of the easiest dinos to hunt with

Yeah Cera is pretty sweet, I did a video on it a few weeks ago. Not sure if they have fixed the alt bite exploit yet, but yeah they are crazy broken.

Ptero used to be my main but I uninstalled the game after the last big update because....it was the main reason I played and it's unplayable now. Womp womp

So I'm pretty sure the reason behind ur stamina not regenning super fast is largely because you are getting up a lot midway through resting. I'm fairly certain that the longer you rest for, the faster you regen stam and you getting up to gauge the troodon and whatnot resets the amplifier. It is still very bad for something that's expected to fly everywhere

I'm pretty sure its based of the % you have when which determins it, i.e sitting at 80% and regen it to 100% is faster than 0% to 20%. Could be wrong, and I'm sure theres a video out there that explains it, but ultimately I'm not really that bothered. While you are correct, getting up to gauge the Troodon isn't effective, ultimately this is a survival game, and I don't know who these players are, it's safer to take off with lower stam and fly to a safer spot to regen it instead of just sitting and letting it get close and potentially killing me, so I'll take the safer option there.

Ptera's should regain stamina during glides, research points to these things being able to fly >8000 miles at a time due to their body mechanics

Yeah 100% that would help make it more played, almost no one plays PT anymore because of the stamina changes.

Ah nice, yeah thats the Isle life. What do you mostly kill as a PT?

Honestly, I kill whatever is weak. As someone who only deals 20 damage and having dinos out there with 8K health (deino) it is a challenge, but with a group of 3 I find it a lot easier to kill carnos, pachys, baby deinos. Steggos are the only land dinos I avoid due to their spikes, hit boxes so weird.
