you could do a cartwheel or even hop a fence in plate armor, it doesn't reduce mobility. Plate armor is just a little awkward to pick yourself up when you are lying on your back, you basically have to roll over and do a push up to get up, it also doesn't breathe so heat exhaustion is very common.

That thing about armor being so heavy, and the fact that you have no mobility, that’s just not true if you can’t move in armor, you die in a battle if you can’t run because it’s too heavy, you die in a battle. There are plenty of videos that talk about it.

A steel suit of armour would be useless. You have to carry everything, theres no cars or horses, no shops or public transport. how can you travel with that?

@@timothybarrett7626 do you think they marched to battle in their armour? these medieval armies had supply chains and people dedicated to the logistics of a knights. further more, what use is steel plate armour to a shotgun or rifle? a slow moving target.
