Hopefully the restaurant and boardwalk concepts materialize sooner rather than later. Enough of the fast food places. Bring social venues. A few pubs, good food, clean, inviting. Don't forget to manage the traffic congestion.

10 years ago they tried to sell this vision, and yet nothing has changed. Same vacant land, with the same problems. Yes, a few new buildings, but nothing ever turns out how it was marketed. LRT ground rail will be a huge fail.

Take a look now. No LRT (for now) Surrey has changed for the better and is 100% better now with watts vision that she put forward years ago. @Surrey360
