In this tutorial, I show you how to create a cool text effect that makes it appear as if your text is tucked underneath wavy lines throughout your image. This gives your text a neat 3D appearance and makes your lettering more eye-catching. The best part? This technique is really easy to do and requires only built-in filters and features in GIMP, the free photo editor!

I have just discovered your channel and can't even put into words how thankful I am. All these tutorial videos aside, I have been working with a completely outdated GIMP-Version for years, assuming that many functions are just missing because it's a free program. I have just realized that the GIMP I used for the past 6 years is stone-age compared to the newest version.
