Honestly, if any car deserved the Throtl treatment, it's the RSX. I always felt like it was a super solid platform for customization/individualization. That thing is going to keep turning heads for a good long while. Excellent work as always guys!

@@ppduval Probably not the base model, but the Type S was quick for what it was.

I understand fitment wise, but the RBC manifold is actually a decent enough upgrade over the stock Type S one.

@bolt2271 clearly the car was running and driving before it got there and I don't take much to do you research they undid all the work the owner did just to put the stock manifold back lol you build a car to look like a track car but remove the one thing that make the k20a breath more better for power and it don't take much to put the rbc manifold on they could have just painted it just like the old manifold they put on and done

I sometimes wonder why their videos pop up on my auto play 😂 I seen they took off rbc off and exploded why they took it off and instantly said these people are stupid😂 we all know they took it off because that carbon cover wasn’t gonna fit and they didn’t like that

If competing or pure performance aspect maybe keep the RBC manifold, but for fit and finish, they went the right direction.

Sheesh. That was awesome guys, the attention to detail was stellar. Even the parts of the work that was sort of glossed over like all the under painting, cleaning of the interior, and all the other little bits that were gone through to make sure nothing was forgotten and sorted out. It was not unnoticed. Honda/Acura's are some of my favorite cars, so I may be a little biased to this choice but again beyond amazing work. ✌

Had a 2002 RSX Type-S as well and it was an amazing, fun, and reliable vehicle! 300k km's and had no issues. Just an incredible little car

You guys are like pimp my ride if they actually did repair stuff and modify cars hella clean . Maybe that's why it's so addicting to watch all of the content you guys post. Definitely one of my top 5 youtube channels .

Im old, I use to sell Acura back in the day. I'm amazed how many upgrade parts are available. Its an art what you guys do. That will drive way better then it ever did from the factory.

Anyone else watching these videos without the money or time to buy a car? Cuz I don't have a car and I have been looking at the 05-09 mustang GTs. Honestly I wouldn't want my dream car built for me, I would LOVE to just build it on my own and go through and make the mistakes, get dirty, and have fun while doing it. These types of KZreadrs are really amazing though, props to you guys for giving back to the community!

That car looks awesome. Well done and seemingly well deserved. On a side note... I had the same exact car. The before version that is. And i can't say how happy I was to see the seat torn at the seam. That happened to mine one day when I was vacuuming. I must have knelt on the seam as I was cleaning the passenger side. When i showed it to the guy at the dealership he laughed at me and said that doesn't happen from what I said. He accused me of standing on the seat with my head out of the sunroof! He insisted I was lying. Ever since I've been nervous Nelly while kneeling in the seat and reaching four anything thinking maybe it was my fault. This is just proof that these cars had this issue. Vindicated.

Yeah and pulled the valve cover without adjusting the valves. Yikes. Good thing they put an autozone starter on the block.

Nice find on the brembo swap! I swapped four pot Acura RL brakes onto my 07 accord with a custom caliper bracket swap. Love seeing oem upgrades

I love watching all the Dream Builds that THROTL keeps doing for those super lucky fans. Its just too bad that there is practically NO AFTERMARKET for my car to be able to do something similar(2009 Pontiac G6 2.4l) If there were Id try it

Why would you remove an rbc intake manifold they make more power than the stock manifold

BIG FAIL removing that RBC manifold for a stock one.

That acuity shifter is definitely worth every penny. I honestly would say it will be the first mod on my next car

So you made the car slower taking off the rbc manifold?? Theres plenty of intakes that fit with rbc manifolds... hyper yellow calipers with a red valve cover... why not do the valve cover hyper yellow

I don’t think a build series on an SUV like that would appeal to the masses of subscribers. Be a cool build but I don’t see that as their style or audience. But I’ve been surprised in the past so who knows. I think an old 75-78’ 280Z would be a sick build especially wide body with a late model drivetrain. 👌

They are the best at what they do. I know they are passionate about what they do.

I wish you could do a pick up truck transformation, I have a 2008 Tundra with 278k it is still pretty inside and out, not beaten up. I still enjoy driving it every day!
