What would make that truck look good is a buddy seat for gunner at the driver’s window to where it looks like he’s driving.

Possibly do a mini blue collar set up with a golf cart type setup and have it remote controlled also if that’s possible

You should get some kind of smoke machine and hook it to the stacks . That would be pretty cool.

A small diesel in this thing is a must, then pipe it though the stacks. Amazon sells some little 4 stroke 3-4hp ones.

Put a child's seat in front of the steering wheel for gunner to set in would be great

Replace that floating axle with a golf cart rear end Then you will have the option of Gas power or electric. Basically whichever we're and you are not using to drive will be a neutral.

Diesel and making the smoke stacks functional would be awesome but electric would be ideal too for convenience, either way it would be sick!

awesome rig, you may as well go all out Bruce, a total do over with paint job including trailer and all. Get a sign painter to do logos and put gunner's name on it.

You could always "super single" the rear axles with ATV tires, and put it in the sled competitions along with the rest of the lawn tractors you have.... It would still be able to tow a trailer and anything else you wanted to do with it.

I love it!!! Keep it gas and drop engine where tank is so you can do trailer, you could put two propane fuel tanks on sides with caps to cover regulator and handles for air tanks. Take the existing air tanks and hide them or go a little smaller

Best dad in the world. When I was go kart age I wanted something like this so badly. I actually want a mini mobile home toter and a mini double wide I could set up as my club house. Not kidding, I saw it when I was that age and thought the idea of moving a structure in two pieces was awesome. I have high functioning autism if that helps to explain my type of thinking.

Nice Bruce, Make it eclectic. Cause we know your going to paint it blue lots of lights stacks with smoke for show, deck plates. Because if its not seating for kids at shows, let it carrier the cooler tents canape just a few ideas .

If and when you do put the electric motor in there you should make a flat bed trailer so he can haul stuff around on it and put a actual CB radio in it.

You should leave it red and put a diesel engine on and also hook up the tailpipes to the engine

You should engine swap it for diesel and connect the exhaust to the stacks to make them live stacks it would be cool to see that happen

Yes.

Cut an inch or two off the top of that mud flap and drill new holes. Mud flap will have more clearance off the ground and you’ll be able to salvage the original.

Sweet little rig.. Paint it to match the fleet for sure.. Convert it to electric and get a small fogger unit to feed the stacks.. Add a sweet stereo for sound effects and light that puppy up..👍👍

Build a trailer for it and put the lithium batteries in the trailer. You could then have 2 trailers, one always on charge to hook up and plug in when the others flat 🤙🏻and solar panels flat along the trailer roof so it free charges when your cruising around in it

It needs to look like a mini Blue Collar. Instead of changing the rearend you can do an electric hydraulic pump. It may not be as fast as you want but a easy swap

The pulling tractor in the garage is awesome

Diesel swap would be sick, but light and trailer would be sick

That’s so cool he’s going to have fun in that when he gets older to drive it

Add a chain between the front and rear rear wheels so that all all 8 wheels in the back have power that would be one thing that would be cool I like the battery idea simply because then you wouldn't have to worry about the kids messing with gas or propane as they get older and the idea of making it dual control or even three control one for the kids up on under the cab one for you and then one you could set up for RC, that would be really cool. The other thing would be to make it look like an older truck well-worn and road weary. To make it look more real find a set of mismatching recap snow tires for rear axles. The 13 in tires would make it look like an old logging truck or scrap hauler. No matter what you do that will be with your children for a long time!

If you go electric you could put speakers in the stacks and have them make sounds. Maybe even add a smoke system.

Electric gokart with a engine sound module. They make plenty off stuff for rc trucks and I think you can put the little speaker wires into an amp with speaker input for much better sound with a proper car stereo speakers. With the benefit of volume control.

If you can repaint it as optimus prime, you'll have a happy kid

Yeah, I have a fantastic idea for you... Try putting one of those "Beeping Backup" bells on it, that way whenever you put it in Reverse, that "Beeping Backup " Bell starts doing it's thing. And, don't forget to put a bright white light on the back of it so whenever you put it in reverse, that bright white light turns on... Brake lights, clearance lights, side marker lights, etc... That's a sick looking Go-kart that's a fact... Nice... Now here comes my question... Where can I get one?...

A lot of cool ideas for the min cabover . I really like the ideal of putting another stearing wheel and seat up front so it looks like your son is driving.

Cut the top of the cab out enough to move the seat foward and controls foward, put a small diesel or electric engine in right where the propane tank is and then do a camper style 5th wheel and build a trailer. Kinda like the little Pete you see runnin around truck shows

That’s super cool, should def convert it into electric, wood grain cat walk, paint her blue just like blue collar. Make it fully functional for you, but also make it like how you mention when you could slap a smaller seat and steering wheel where it looks like gunner is driving it. Add some lights into it to make it look legit. I also saw someone mention maybe even add a smoke machine somehow and have smoke come out of the stacks would be sweet. Such a sweet toy. Started with Blue collar. Should make it look like it for gunner. Also And when you do electric, you could make a sweet little trailer/ cooler to hook up to it, have the trailer nice and stuff, but make it a cooler somehow for your beverages at truck shows 😎👌🏻

Awesome wish I had that when I was a kid lol I had to imagine everything until I proved to dad I was able to push in the clutch and he let me drive I was running the tractor at 6 standing on the clutch pedal sometimes lol if I had to hold it very long Cut the mud flap shorter so it doesn’t get in the tires backing up trim a inch or two off the top and drill new holes I’m sure if you convert to electric you can get a controller that you can set for a slow speed for the kids and a dad speed for you 😂

Haul the mini excavator with it! But yeah, electric, add lights and build an extension on the cab like a Kenworth Aerodyne, so you can actually sit in the cab. Build a trailer for it too, got to have a trailer. Do something with the interior of the cab. That insulation matt looks bad. Why is the ignition at the engine and not wited by the steeting wheel? There are so many details that are not on it now, it's a great platform to start from now though.

Make a day cab to look cool. Shorten the mud flaps too. I would paint it the same colour as your big trucks. 😊

Show and tell at school is gonna be legendary when gunner shows up.

Well, my favorite color is Red... I definitely like your seating and idea and air horns, just not too loud... these are kids, remember. You definitely need a trailer, something just the right length to scale, I'd use something like 25" - 30" high corrugated metal down both sides Then wide enough like 4.5' to put hay bales down both sides and leave a walk space in the middle so you can take passengers on a load of a hay rack ride. I think I would convert it to electric it wouldn't be too hard... Just make sure you're getting a big enough battery... Some of those parade routes can be a pretty long.

I have a Duromax on my Kart and it is an amazing engine.

Do the golf cart power conversion but , what about a flat bed so you can carry some small tractors as advertising you business at truck shows, also at the fairs when you go to tractor pulls
