Thank you to April for inspiring my wife to use a Fred Rig. She had never used anything but hook and worm before and she caught her first pre spawn bass of the season during a 100% total solar eclipse. Totally epic and its all due to April.

TJ and anyone who reads this, if you ever go to Kansas to fish, I suggest trying Milford Reservoir. It's a very good bank fishing lake to say the least. It has a great variety types of fishing opportunties as well.

Ever in western Arkansas to fish my family has a few Airbnbs near the Caddo River, near several very good fishing lakes.

Was at my parents yesterday and they still had standing snow in the shade. My mom was already raking leaves out of her flower beds and my dad had sucked them up and ground them up for when she puts mulch in her garden. This is in southern Wisconsin. I went for a ride in my buddies old Corvette his kids gave him for his 60th birthday

Man the c3000 vanford is a high capacity panfish reel fyi. Its basically a size 1000 body and gears with a 3000 size spool. And fyi next year they are coming out with a new vanford/ci4 generation. So the older vanfords will soon be going on clearance
