I grew up with 7 sisters and I don't think the average guy realizes or understands just how much a proposal means to a woman. They've spent their whole lives standing in front of mirrors, trying on their mother's dresses, and so forth just practicing for this day since they were little girls. It's bigger than we could ever imagine.

Agreed. I've seen multiple of these proposals where there is a 4 or 5 year old child there with them. Why did they wait all that time to get married? Were they "keeping their options open" and only after 5 years of dating around, they don't think they can find anything better, so now they decide to settle down? It's just wrong. They have a young child, they are a family now.

@@jackyvanmarsenille8547 Not everyone has money for a marriage, and some may have come out of a bad one and dont want to get in another. the one with the kids were the mans kids not the girls, so she was marrying into that family. some families dont work out and they have kids out of wedlock. there are multiple reasons people have children without being married, and no where does it state that they have to be married either.
