I’ve been thinking I was a minimalist for the last 5 years.. till I had to move 6 times. Each time I started packing I moved my kitchen stuff and thought, “wow, I am a wreck!” Just like she did lol

@@Kate-bc7nm just recently moved and I can attest to all of this. It looked minimalist until I started packing 12 years worth of junk. Luckily we downsized majorly.

@@boci122 Unfortunately it puts you in a place of "I need to get rid of junk AGAIN" and if you're OCD like I am, it will never be perfect until it's all gone. I put myself in a mindset where I think "if it doesn't fit in my car (outside of my bed) I don't need it"

I love it when Jessa says, "My family has several box trucks. We'll see if they have any that are not full of junk and still run and drive.". That cracked me up.

We lived in our 1st home seven years as well and brought all 4 babies home to that house. It was very bittersweet and emotional to leave!

We lived in our first home of 900 square feet for 6 1/2 years. A lot of memories in that little house. That was 38 years ago we moved in. Congratulations! Good to see you and your family working to help pull this move off before Ben gets home.

My husband and I lived in 900 sq ft. Home for 14years. We were blessed to be able to build our dream home that was 3,000 sq ft.. I know exactly how you feel about the special memories in that small house. The day we left for the last time, we stood in the kitchen in a tight embrace and cried like babies! We went on to make new memories for 18 more years before God called him to glory. Enjoy your new home. Much love from tennessee!

New bigger spaces are exciting and growth inevitable but what a gift to be able to look back at your little home all of your close tucked in tight tucked in together. Congratulations!!!! Very blessed to have so many helpers for your new home.

I’ve helped both my children move in the past 2 years and it was no easy feat! The fact that you packed and moved everything in 4-5 hours is pretty impressive, especially with 4 young children! My son’s move from a small apartment to his first house took twice as long (granted, we only had 4 adults). I understand the need to say goodbye to a home. My 100 year old mom passed away last year and we, her children, sold the family home a few months later. It was a very emotional experience to clear out her belongings and let our childhood home go. I shed quite a few tears when I took my final walk through.

So happy for you. It was so nice to see Jim Bob. Tell him he’s done a wonderful job. All his children are such a blessing to this world. Michelle is a great Mom and it shows in her children. Keep posting and we’ll keep praying. The house is beautiful but you’d expect that from a Duggar. Your parents blessed all of you with so many skills. I was there say 1. 14 children. I love y’all so much. Keep your heads up about that situation. God will heal all things in his perfect timing. Give Anna a big hug from us. She’s a complete Angel through it all. Jessa, Loved seeing all of your Pictures of the past !! We moved an hr. And a half West of Katy,TX where I was raised all of my life!! I'm 58 . What a Change but we are making new Memories!! I do miss Katy, and My Daughter and 2 of my Grandson's are still there! Boy , do I miss them!! I was their babysitter and ,( I'm a Paraplegic) NY Daughter was My care - Giver... Going to Dr. Appointments etc. Well, Love Your whole Family !! Miss each of You !! Thanks for letting us see your siblings and Mom and Dad too !!

You can make those memories the day you move into your new place. A house doesn’t make a home. A family makes it a home.
