My best friends daughter has CF, which is what lead me to start watching your videos. Because of distance my daughter and hers have never met. However, my daughter prays for her daughter every night. As I was watching today, I began to pray for you to be lifted up and have extra joy even in the midst of not knowing what is ahead. I'm praying for wisdom for the doctors and for your blood counts and platelets to be better. Continued prayers from this Children's Pastor in Ky.

Gilmore Girls is my absolute favorite show! I watch it over and over! Cheers and thumbs up for the nurses. Nurses are the real MVPs!!!!!

You have made me realize just how precious life is. Here I sit, COPD, and smoking, yeah right. I lay around doing nothing because I feel so blah all the time. Then I watch your video and feel so guilty. You have been going through life with a disease that can literally kill you and you attack it head on and live such a full life. You and your husband give so much inspiration and I am so grateful to be able to see a little part of your reality. You live love and laugh through it all. You both are very loved! Thank You!

So I just found this channel a few days ago when I had a really bad flare day and I just have to say that I love you two! As a chronically ill person, it's really encouraging to see other chronically ill people and their families in the struggle just to live life. Thank you so much Mary and Peter for your daily videos.

The low blood count problem is such a struggle! I'm dealing with similar stuff right now, as well, so I totally understand. Keeping you in my prayers!

Mary, thank you so much for saying how looking good on the outside is not always a good indicator of someone's overall health. I have so many health problems, all of them not immediately recognizable. They are considered "invisible illnesses", and many times people assume I am more able bodied than I really am because I don't look sick. It's caused considerable problems for me and I know it has for many others who have invisible illnesses. I appreciate you so much for spreading awareness for these type of issues.

hi, i just want to say thank you for everything that you've done for me. i have got anxiety disorder and mild depression and coming home from school to your videos really helps. also watching your videos helps me stay positive as things can sometimes get overwhelming but then i come and watch your vlogs and it reminds me to 'look at the glass as if it is half full'. your positive attitude is honestly awesome. so thank you.

I love nice nurses, after my first brain surgery I had the most amazing ICU nurses. 1 stayed in my room the whole time because I had 5 IVs going and my veins are horrible and they kept blowing. Then the next shift the nurse went and bought me a gallon tube of ice cream because it was the only thing I could keep down the first day, and my throat was sore from intubation. Nurses are the best, and my experiences really solidified my career choice

Since I've come out the hospital 9 days ago I've been super worried about my blood counts because I was only supposed to be in the hospital for 5 days and it turned into a 10 day stay. I really hope that everything gets better for you Mary, you deserve the best 😊

Mary, my sister has Lupus and has struggled with very low platelets since she was a little girl. I'm not sure if this is how you're feeling but she would get really tired and get headaches often when her counts were low. I'm so sorry you're going through this, but your faith and your positive attitude is a huge testimony. Try to get lots of rest and know that many are praying for you! xo

Mary you are awesome if I was in the hospital I would be freaking out but you are super calm and awesome!

Big ol' bummer about the drug reaction and surgery cancellation. I'm sorry you hit another bump in the road. It did seem to be working though...maybe soon there will be a variation of this drug that won't cause the allergic reaction. I'm glad church/ preaching went well, Peter! Hope that you both were able to get some rest!!

My PowerPort is healing nicely. My homecare nurse removed the tagaderm so my chest and neck feel freer. Mary so sorry about the medication hypersensitivity reaction. Praying for you and all those here that are fighting scary illnesses. I know the frustration of running out of option. Hugs for all the Frey Life family. Extra one for Ollie too.

Oh Mary, I'm SO SORRY that your magic bullet IV meds didn't work out after all. I was thrilled for you when you didn't get those terrible side effects. Hopefully they can get things straightened out and figure out another option. In other news....it looks like you'll be sleeping with Peter on the window ledge, because SOMEONE is sleeping in your bed! It's been a lot of fun, seeing Pedro pop up in unexpected places. He's a real party guy. ;-) He sure has made himself at home, eh?

Ulcerative colitis is a disease that also doesn't affect a person on the outside until your blood counts start to drop from blood loss and then you start to look really sick I just got my colon removed though so hopefully no more blood loss. Yay ostomy bags and stomas!

Mary, I am so sorry that your 'magic drug' was actually hurting you. I really hope your blood counts come up and you are feeling not weird soon. Recently I went through a similar experience when I was told one of my medications that had kept me stable for a year was causing abnormal QTC intervals in my heart. Thankfully I have been able to take the option to restart my drug at a lower dose to see if my condition has improved enough for that to work for me without hurting my heart, but so far it's not looking too great, although its early days. I know its really tough when a good drug has to be snatched away but you are such an amazing overcomer to take it in your stride the way you do. I hope things improve and you can get the surgeries and treatments you need as and when its best for you, and that the rest of this admission goes well.

You know there's something wrong when I'm seeing your hospital room and imagining how expensive a room like that must be. It is a good room though, and who wouldn't want both their service dog and their husband with them when they're in hospital? Bodies be cray. Hopefully you find an IV your body doesn't have a reaction to. I've never experienced anything like that but the reaction my body had to an antibiotic that shouldn't be taken with my one prescription medication at the time was plenty enough to know it must feel awful.

Did you spend time in any UK hospitals when you were in Scotland? Hospitals here in the UK (I'm in England) are quite different. We don't usually get our own room unless we have complications or need to be in isolation like you do. Also, we have to pay for tv & they're on this screen thing that we can also use for internet. But when I was in & tried it I couldn't get it to work. Most people give up on it. But we also get our treatment free as we are blessed with our NHS (National Health Service). Having seen & heard about people having so much difficulty with medical bills in the USA, I feel so blessed that we have our NHS, especially since I need to have regular medication that would be very expensive if I wasn't entitled to free prescriptions. I'm so grateful & feel so blessed. I feel so bad & sorry for people who survive cancer, but then struggle to pay off the hospital bills.

I hope you feel better Mary❤️😘. I am praying hugely for a miracle so your blood levels don't drop anymore. I'm so so sorry all of this happening. Sometimes the "good drugs" do the yuckiest stuff to our bodies. Ps- I took my 1 dose of steroids for my throat last week and had no weird side effects except hungry and emotional lol. Feel better beautiful
