Question: Find the surface area of the trapezoidal prism to the nearest metre squared
In this video you will learn a quick and easy to grasp step-by-step method!
It involves finding the area of each individual face separately and concludes by adding them together to determine the whole surface area of the prism.

This really helped me with my homework. This also made it simple then doing a net.
Thank you, your video is very helpful. I was feeling overwhelmed before, not anymore. Thank you ❤
Ty man. I knew the answer but didn't know how my friend got there and had to figure it out to show my work without cheating and this helped a lot.
thank you so much. i have a test one day away and this helped me so much, so thank you
Great video. Very easy to understand and actually remember what you're talking about
thanks so much. still helping 10 years later
There's also a formula for those of you who don't know. This formula is 2*a+b/2*h+(s1+s2+s3+s4)*d that's the formula I use, very easy once you understand it. There are other formulas too. This video taught you by finding the surface area of each face then adding all up for the total surface area. The formula will give you the answer straight away if you do it correctly.
omfg!! this helped me soooo much! thank you!!!!
thx boss ur vids help keep on making em
This helped a lot with my homework keep uploading more videos!😇
Thanks... it's so helpful to me♥️♥️
i have a test tomorrow and this helped a lot thank you
Great job explaining! This really helped, I found another formula if you guys are confused: 2(1a+2b)h + PB x h Reply if you have questions!

This was so helpful
Thank u for that! Now I can solve my problem :)
Wow! Very detailed and simple solution. Just subscribed from the Philippines. Enjoy vlogging and God bless.
Man I couldn't understand these lesson until I met your channel
Omg thank you
what if you used this formula for TSA =(perimeter x length) + area of ends ?
thank you so much!!!!!!
Thanks!
thanks this helped alot

Maybe this makes me sound shallow, but I believe everybody would agree with me; that guys accent makes everything easier to listen to.
Wow that was confusing at first, but now I get it!cx thanks :D
Great video
This was so helpful, thank you so much!
Is anyone help to how can i get a Trapezoid volume? If i get a easiest formula will be great. Thanks a lot.

The volume of a trapezoidal prism is equal to the product of a base (B) and the altitude (a). Volume of a Trapezoidal Prism = Ba. Hope this helps!
I didn't understood the area of front face how did you do that
Why isn't the website up yet and how do you find the lateral area of a trapezoid

nice and well done
Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
But over all the video helped me out a lot
how do you find the inner surface area?
You are amazing... making teacher's lifes easier
understandable thx
I want to ask a question (I want to draw it)
Omg i wish you were my teacher :(
it's very okay😊
never mind i understood it thx

Shouldn’t it be cubed?
@dendenee9330
6 жыл бұрын
Jordnfan909 no its squared because its surface area. Volume is cubed
@kati3ashl334
5 жыл бұрын
See, the surface area is finding the area of all the faces and adding them together, even though it is 3d you are only finding the area of the FACES, the same way you find 2d shapes that's why it is cubed. And volume is finding the area of cross section and multiplying to the length, right? So it becomes 3 dimensional, making it cubed. Got it???

this is all wrong. (Ar=6x7 and Al=6x7). both the right and left side is not a rectangle because the top base with the 10M, (the other top side) would actaully be smaller than the 7M making Ar and Al side a trapezoid also.
@VividMath
10 жыл бұрын
I understand how you think the answer is wrong. But the answer is correct. The two side panels of a trapezoidal prism are obviously rectangular so clearly the side panels are each A = 6x7 which equals 42m^2. The top side is not smaller than 7m but actually equals 7m
