Back home in Hawaii we have the lady fish species we call lai (lie) Hawaiian name. Really good eating. Also a lot of boat fishermen dry the fish skin and use in when they make trolling lures. Awesome vid bro! 🤙

The "dead weight" bit is one I experienced when a small catfish grabbed the bait from my two rods & got my brothers rod as well.....lol, we both kept thinking we got a hit but then nothing would happen. After about 30 minute I reeled it in and the catfish had swallowed all three HooKs & we were amazed. Stranger things happen but such is Fishing !! Great show,,, peace

@@BeachBomberFishing yeah. Cause of the rain moving in. But this fri, sat, and sun going to be awesome in freeport. 6am to 3pm incoming tides everyday. Even the 3pm to 6pm long drops going to be hit good. 400 yard drop is the sweet spot.

Smash the barb and you get your hook back without cutting it. 95% of the time you don’t even need tools, just your hands. Always have tools though… just in case

No, unless you've had them out for a long time. You only want to do that from deep water, like 30 feet in addition to the fish being out for awhile.

Last weekend the seaweed was heavy on the surf. Seen my rod bend hooked up twice but the seaweed took out the fun of fighting it since it just felt like dead weight also.

Ayyyyyyy bro, real quick take that drone footage: Except with permits issued by Texas Parks & Wildlife Department, the use of drones to hunt, drive, capture, take, count or photograph any wildlife is unlawful. This includes locating wounded animals as well……I just did a presentation on the new law that just passed

That's a difficult law to enforce 😂 The future of human existence will forever be in line with innovation & new ideas. Technology will continue to evolve alongside the hobby & career paths chosen. That's tough. Were you doing this with your drone? No officer, I was just flying and viewing. I've called in to tpwd a few times to ask about my drone...there's specific laws you can follow and still have a good time . Even though these laws suck balls in my opinion I still follow them. Good info 👍

Bro why are you setting the hook with a circle hook! Just reel! No need to look silly setting the hook when the line is 200 yards offshore.
