I caught a 48”Bill Red right there off the pier at Goose Island. Some good fishing all over that area. Wife and I were living in Rockport back then. Keep putting out those videos. I’m living up in Arkansas now, the land of pretty horses and fast women. But I’d trade it all to be back down there wetting a few hooks. Enjoy it while you got got it big guy. My wife is 6 years older than me and dying of Alzheimer’s. Keep those boys out in nature you’ll never regret it.Take Care Bro.

Watching or in my case today,listening while i work makes me think id love to travel to America and meet fantastic folks like this. We have some great fishing spots here in Australia too. Pretty sure the bloke said he was from Texas and all the people ive spoken to from Texas have all been friendly and decent. Take it the fish were A) size restriceted B) out of season or C) worms. Some of us dont know the type of fish as we are far away. Diferent countries also have diferent names for fish in your waters. From 🇿🇦 fish Indian Ocean and Atlantic Ocean, great show love the diferent styles and method's of fishing.

@Beach Bomber Fishing bet that 1st drum was a pound an inch. They're beasts to land.

Hooked probably a 70 lb AJ today, on a little 5'6 eagle claw rod with and okuma t10 and 30 lb braid, was looking for grouper offshore and a monster fish got on, also lost probably a 40-50 lb cobia because it got wrapped into the trolling motor, also had an 8+ ft bull shark get off right at the surface

It’s still a baitcaster, just bigger than ones you would use for bass.

but at my south china sea, i quit because no fish or no big fish when surf fishing...
