Surf Crowds on the Gold Coast are Getting Next Level
This footage is from Snapper Rocks, Rainbow Bay a few weeks ago. We have had so many good waves this Autumn and it was a great size on this day for my 6'6" single fin shaped by Mick Roche of Spooky Point Surfboards.
Crowds were pretty annoying... but they always are whenever there is decent swell on the Coast. You always have to have your wits about you surfing this place, it can be complete mayhem and only seems to be getting worse. Still a tonne of fun and very lucky to grow up so close to one of the best waves in the world.
