You have visit 3 mall, pakuwon mall, Tunjungan plaza and ciputra world, maybe next do food vlog in surabaya there's many famous dishes like rujak cingur, rawon setan, tahu tek2, and go up a little bit to neigbouring city probolinggo to watch epic sunset on mount bromo national park one of seven wonder nature

Damian I know that I will cause an incident by saying this, but maybe combining Jogja with Solo, or Malang, would be a better bet. Even Bandung is interesting but has become very like Jakarta in recent years, with all of its downside. Like Birmingham, Surabaya certainly does have its high points (even claims to second city status), but if you were visiting just two cities in the UK it is difficult to find an argument in favour of Birmingham.

Yeah I got it but after visiting severals major cities in Indonesia like Jakarta Yogyakarta Surabaya Mataram Labuan Bajo and once long tome ago Batam i just found out kinda boring. Not sure if Bandung will change it. Like in UK visited except all cities in Norther Ireland - well still UK.. Birmingham London Leeds Glasgow Bristol they are also kinda boring. Just got thoughts as other countries in the region are more interesting due to many other factors. Maybe thats why they are also more popular if we look in to statistics of visitors etc. No offense

@@TheMonkeys Oh I am really am with you on this. Jogja is very special and worth seeing. There was a wonderful art exhibition on while you were there and I know a few student bars that are interesting. Solo is trying attract some of Jogja's tourists, but you know Indonesia, because westerners are so rare the prices are double those in Jogja. Malang, however, does have some charm, especially Batu and Taman Selecta.

@@TheMonkeys it's funny cause out of all places you mentioned, the ones considered major city are only Jakarta and Surabaya 😅 and yeah, Indonesia is kinda boring if compared to say, Thailand cause we dont offer sex industry and alcohol is definitely harder to buy as well. but we'd love to stay this way since we dont rely our economy on tourism sector like thailand does. so basically we dont really care ehehe ;))

You are wrong tunjungan plaza not first biggest mall in surabaya but pakuwon mall first biggest pakuwon mall nla 200.000 square meter if tunjungan plaza nla 180.000 square meter
