I felt the same, I have severe health problems myself and hate myself for not being able to work and make money to give him more of everything. Unfortunately the world isn't set up so people like me can work. Hell I spent 2 months in lockdown in a neck brace and having to sleep on my recliner with the drs thinking I'd had a stroke!

It's because there are a few people who don't have true disabilities and decide to cheat the system by acting like they don't. That's why the disability office will send investigators out to see if the person is employees or really doing ANYTHING that their application claims they can't do. With that being said, I know this guy isn't lying and is absolutely disabled. I'm disabled with hip dysplasia, and my dad AND little sister both have MS same as this guy. My sister has a particularly aggressive form but her meds have her under control so she is still working. MY dad worked with his milder form all the way until he started losing his ability to walk and started losing his memory and ability to retain information and for a FINANCE MANAGER for a car dealership, that's pretty important. So he now gets disability ssi and disability through the insurance. He can't work PERIOD. My sister works but idk how long she will be able to. This guy is young, and typically when you're THAT young with MS it is typically an aggressive form. And you know.... I feel for this woman too because she is stuck with the entire expense of a child she didn't make herself. She SHOULD be getting support. But what is he supose to do? MS is a deteriorating disease and when he spoke about numbers on the screen moving and getting blurry.... he likely has a lesion on his optic nerve which is common with MS patients. Both my dad and sister have that as well as SEVERE vertigo. She should be getting more help but it's not his fault that he can't provide it. It sucks but it is what it is.

MS is degenerative....medicine can helps symptoms...there is no getting better...only worse. If you look at his right hand you can see it starting to stiffen....ive seen a good amount of people with MS, and spent time with them...once that hand has a contracture it's there for ever.... no more fingers.... I was judging him about his hair, until he said MS, and immediately thought of brushing my step mom's hair...

@@chantalsmissingyoutubechan8094 MS doesn't take someone that fast. Especially if he is following his doctors orders. It comes in slow enough that most people doesn't even notice the early symptoms. At this point, the father is most likely using a cane of crutches. It's very possible for him to stay at this point for 15 years if he is doing the exercises and physical therapy as often as he doctor tells him to do. If he just sits own and gives up, he will be in a wheelchair in 5 years. Two of my family members have had MS. I've watched the effects it has had my entire life. This burns me SO much! This "mother" is disgusting. I've been battling an autoimmune disease for FORTY YEARS. I worked as much as I could for as long as I could, and I'm now totally disabled starting when I was 58. To look at me, you can see that I "don't feel well" but you cannot see what is going on inside my body, nor tell the level of pain I'm having. I have literally not had a single pain free day since December 31, 1980. I get nasty remarks when I say I'm disabled, my sister accuses me of faking. 99.99999999999% of people on disability would give almost anything to be "normal" again.

One of the few things that SSI and Disability got right was to make government incomes untouchable. I'm glad that she's not able to take his paycheck because it's barely enough for you to live on and sometimes not even that much. Granted they did that because they didn't want THEIR money to be taken by others but it still works out the same. At least disabled people know that a person can't sue them or touch their money. They have it hard enough. The last thing they need to worry about is child support or being sued.

SSI is income from the govt for ur disability for wages unearned & the child can get money from the state & SSI is on the 1st of the month. I had a friend with ms she worked for a few years until it got bad. She has been on disability for 17 years now and the disease fluctuates. It might get some better for a time and then it gets worse than before. This is degenerative and just gets worse as time goes on. It is also the type that on the outside there doesn’t seem like much is wrong but on the inside you’re all messed up. This is what makes a lot of people think ms is not a disability but doctors know the truth.

After he asked the courts to voluntarily waive child support. When we went to court and I explain to them that I lost my job about a year ago and I’m on SSI, the judge basically told my ex husband that I am not required to pay child support because of my disability. I also have sole legal custody of my oldest son from my first marriage and his father does not pay child support at all. We’ve been struggling but we’re doing OK. This mother is absolutely disgusting. Prior to me getting on SSI I worked over 40 to 60 hours a week and had no child support for my son and still provided for my youngest son. A lot of people who are not disable doesn't realize what disable people are going thru. I am permanently disabled. Before I was 45 years old, l had the world. I had no pain except occasional headaches and back aches. Other than that, I was generally pain free and enjoying life to the fullest. I am now 67 years old and I am a walking miracle. I have (or had) Sleep Apnea, Depression, Cancer(Prostate), Diabetes, Peripheral Neuropathy, Stomach nerves damage by diabetes, Hypertension, High Cholesterol, Acid Reflux, EXTREME Arthritis in the ball joints of my shoulders, back problems, leg problems. I had most of these problems after the age of 45. I still fight these battles of all these disorders/ diseases except for Prostate Cancer which I am now Cancet free for 16 years. There isn't many days that I am pain free. I have Neuropathy in my fingers and hands and arms and feet. The nerve pain comes unexpectedly and at any moment. There are times it comes while I'm driving and it's a miracle that the pain wasn't so severe to cause m e to swerve into another lane. My Depression is Anxiety/ Panic Attacks and seizure like attacks that sometimes have me speaking in tongue. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. My worst problem is Peripheral Neuropathy. My balance is off and I have to stand perfectly. I can't lean too far in either directions or I will fall. I stumble a lot and even fall down. I look like I'm fallen down drunk. With all these problems, all of us disable people wish we were normal people without disabilities. Many people with disabilities have committed suicide. This man's wife is a money hungry idiot. We who have disabilities wish that our bodies were normal.

As someone getting tested for MS this makes me so mad the audacity on this lady. His nervous system is attacking him and causing his mind and body to deteriorate and she thinks he's just being lazy. Gross people

As someone disabled with a rare autoimmune disease called Guillain barre syndrome, I sat for hours receiving infusions of immunoglobulin next to people with MS. Even though my disease is incurable, I still felt thankful I didn’t have Multiple Sclerosis… this woman has no idea what his body is going through and it will only get worse for him. He will not be going back to work and paying her money. What she should be upset about is their kid losing their father or having time together running around and playing together before he’s gone. She is not thinking of him or even worse their child. All she’s worried about is her having money. Selfish people don’t always see what’s important in life. I feel sad for the kid and him. She needs to step out of her own mindset and think about that baby who’s soon going to have a Dad… makes my heart hurt every time I look at my kids and think I’ll never be able to do and teach them certain things because my body doesn’t work the way it should anymore. I wish them all the best
