Superunknown - Soundgarden 10 Oberhausen
Музыка
From 1994 album, Superunknown
Or, as goodeye from SGW put it, "Vivius In Eximius Incompertus"
Music: Kim Thayil, Chris Cornell Lyrics: Cornell
If this isn't what you see
It doesn't make you blind
If this doesn't make you feel
It doesn't mean you've died
Where the river's high
Where the river's high
If you don't want to be seen
You don't have to hide
If you don't want to believe
You don't have to try
To feel alive
Alive in the superunknown
First it steals your mind
And then it steals your soul
If this doesn't make you free
It doesn't mean you're tied
If this doesn't take you down
It doesn't mean you're high
If this doesn't make you smile
You don't have to cry
If this isn't making sense
It doesn't make it lies
Alive in the superunknown
First it steals your mind
And then it steals your soul
Get yourself afraid
Get yourself alone
Get yourself contained
Get yourself control
Alive in the superunknown
First it steals your mind
And then it steals your... soul

Say the name. Say it. Matt Cameron. Inherited the throne of Bonham. Hail to the king, baby.
No one has played a bass lower than Ben Shepard. No one.

Longest arms in rock that Ben has.
I just can't believe how well he sings it here. Cornell was such a beast (to say nothing of Cameron on drums). Cornell couldn't sing it this way even 4 years later. This is the perfect example of why you go to live shows: you might catch a musician at the height of his powers doing something that literally no one else can do. This video is such a good find.

Well said. Saw them in 92 when they were galvanizing music - was an outdoor show with mad rain. Felt like we were all witnessing something in music history.

You may think he could not sing as well later on, but that is not true. I saw them first in 89 and many dozens of times after into the 2010's. Chris lost nothing. He was even better often, in his later years. It is a myth that he lost any ability at all. He could crush "Beyond the Wheel" until his very last show.

@@rogerm1343 I got Brian's point. Because here he's RAW, it's so powerful, that power he haven't had years later (even tho he become a better singer)
Found this version accidentaly one day and it is the greatest one hell yeah
Happy birthday Chris... I hope you're being celebrated on the other side today. The superunkown is not the same without you. You're missed every single day. Love and peace to your precious soul 🖤
Man, was Chris at the top of his game or what...The exhibition is astonishing. One of my favorites from him along with that prodigy from another planet: the end of "Room with a thousand years wide" at Berkely, 1994.
rare glimpse into greatness
Simplemente perfecto
Simplesmente sensacional. Chris tinha uma voz inconfundível. 😢
Cornell is God like here! Fucking incredible
Incredible version! 🤘🏽🖤

Kim shreds
SUPER!!!
Holy shit, this concert had so many of Soundgarden's greatest performances. I thought Cornell was out of his prime by 1995 - I was wrong!
Maravilhoso!!! 😎🤘
Sure this guy doesnt know autotune

What Cameron does there should be declared illegal, fuck! what a drummer.
