Voihan Viineri the supermoto have 100 times better brakes and tires. Probably 320 brembo brakes and hypersport tries from michelin. Pluss lower center weight makes for a perfect turn. Aw man love it❤️

@@Stian2001 Nah, the brakes abd tires aren't that much better. The cop bike has twin brakes at the front. BUT the difference is in weight and maneuverability. While the smoto weights around 100kg, the cop bike is a big sport touring bike and weighs propably 200-300kg. Also the turning radius of the cop bike is a lot bigger than the supermoto's turning radius. That's why the supermoto can make sharp turns and brake in seconds from almost full speed, while the big cop bike takes way longer to stop.

If anyone is wondering where the SM did the desicive turn, you can see clear fresh brake marks on the road at 4:48

I did something similar with an atv, albeit at around 80 kmh, and the jump was steeper, else I would not even lift. but I landed on the backwheels with a like 350-400 kg work atv with a 600cc engine

Guy is a great rider on that bike, can't even fault the cop either. Handled that dirt road pretty good for a probably pretty heavy bike with street tires.

@@billybull7419 but an SM weights nothing, the cops motorcycle is most likely those big 300+kg BMW that hit 300km/h. And driving that off road is nuts. I drive a 300kg motorcycle and even on the road it's a handful, wouldn't think of crossing a sand patch with it.

Snipe Camp They ride KTM 1190 Adventure, BMW K1200RS and Yamaha FJR 1300. Unmarked motorcycle units are yamaha R1s. Fun fact, Finlands Police own almost as many snowmobiles as motorcycles, at 100 motorcycles and 90 snowmobiles. Out of 1600 vehicles in total, 900 are unmarked. These are usually not used for monitoring traffic, but being stopped by an unmarked car is not unheard of nor illegal.

RevengeFromAngel As far as I know, he actually doesnt have to have the siren on, flashing lights are enough for him to legally ride like that in Finland. Ofcause should something happen due to someone not hearing him comming the police is responsible. This is a pretty good rule since especially at night in cities, emergency response units dont wake everyone in the neighbourhood up except if they have to run through an intersection.

That Rider knew the area well. He crisscrossed his way to escape. Good job! 😁😁

You can call me special but I'm right this guy thought he was gonna keep up and the supermoto knew the area better, IF he stopped he woulda been ticketed and might have lost his bike I understood why he ran, A real officer knows this is how most dirt bikers think and chooses not to chase them because he knows its futile, Let the dirt biker have the adrenaline rush of seeing you and running no need for you to get your fix by chasing him, But I don't think bootlickers like you would understand respect on that level.

great riding from both, this video is quite telling of how a loud exhaust wont help you in this situation, couldn't see the rider but you sure could hear them. Side note, was it worth the pursuit? young lad on one bike and an officer on the other, tragic if something happened to either, especially over a traffic violation.

We did that 50 years ago. I’m 70 now, but the difference was, the cops would mow you over if they caught you, or just beat the crap out of you. Good incentive to not get caught.

Awesome! Fun how the cop just catch up so easely on the straight roads (his bike has much higher top speed), but as soon as there are turns, he doesn't stand a chance :)

My electraglide has some engine....enhancements...so I can keep up with SOME of the sport bikes on the straights and gentler curves, but between only a 35 degree lean limit and almost 900 lbs. (400 kilos) of metal, I can't keep up on the sharp turns even though I'm scraping my floorboards. My motor also doesnt like going on the dirt... I wasn't highway so no motor pursuits....chasing in my RMP (black and white) was scary enough, though the supervisory officers usually would call them off because in urban environments it's too dangerous...the bad guys never learn you can't outrun a radio...

the super moto was fast but the police bike was a lot faster the police officer just messed up that turn thats the only reason he got away lets be honest

Damn thats insane riding by the cop. Who knows how long this sm rider has been wanted tho. Might be the reason he chased him all this time

Both...great riders. When I saw the SM rider sit up, I thought...oh man..he is HARD on the brakes. Very nice transition from pavement to dirt. I'm amazed the cop rider pushed it that hard on dirt. Doesn't seem smart at all to me. He really took some serious risks with his own life.

I have to give it to the cop...he hung with him for a minute. That was awesome.

Got caught, you can ask for the footage. Thats how it works here in Finland. Also, there is a cop car below the bridge at 1:03. IS that enough proof for you?
