The whole narrative is the biggest failing in comic book history. Superman is nearly as fast as the Flash (Supes rewound time after Lois’s death) and is indestructible outside of his vulnerability to Kryptonite. Batman would have no business fighting him. In fact, the only people who could are Wonder Woman and Aquaman, whose trident has next-level magic that even Superman couldn’t defeat. Do you remember Throne of Atlantis? What I couldn’t figure out is how they allowed Aquaman to be vulnerable to Mantis’s lasers. Sure, they were made with Atlantian technology, but Aquaman shouldn’t have been THAT vulnerable.

The animated verse, and the movies almost make anyone outside of superman not worth a damn, and so drastically toned down, that when shit hits the fan and they need to preform it makes no sense when they actually do. A big example is when they used flash to beat Braniac lex Luthor, when in the whole show he’s just like a regular dude who happens to be fast. In green lantern’s context, you’re taking a guy who has deadass played billiards with planets and dampening him to a hero who works on a street level. That’s been the biggest issue with their animated verse from the beginning, even if they are still fun to watch. You basically have characters in cosplay, and Batman and Superman

Batman is such a genius. He used personal information to end the conflict instead of fighting a pointless battle against a being he has yet to learn the weaknesses of. Fuckin brilliant.

Justice League War was awesome 😎. I first watched it 10 years ago after coming home from high school then last time I watch it was 3 years ago in my junior year of college with my friend.

In the comic that this movie was based on, it's just one panel of Batman facing Superman and all of his gadgets are used up on the floor, already. Superman says menacingly, "Your belt's empty, Batman."

Personally LOVED THIS VERSION OF SUPES and how he gradually turned into the more classic Superman over the animated films it was great

It was interesting. They used his death to fully fix his drawing and personality. I couldn’t much stand this personality and much preferred his boy scout one. But to each their own.

@@SirPengu4000 Im not quite sure what you’re asking for but these are the New 52 animated movies that starts with: Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox. Superman starts to become more and more boyscout over the course of the movies. With a huge change in Reign of the Supermen. That’s when he comes back after dying to Doomsday and they make him classic Superman again. Even his face is different. He’s the Superman I grew up with not the New 52 one. I wish they had animated the whole Dr. Manhattan saga.

I LOVED this movie. Loved it more than most live action DC movies.

the way gl was so shocked at batman having a satellite is pure gold

My favorite scene of this movie was when Batman takes the ring off of Lantern's finger without him noticing in the sewer
