Strange in the Donner cut, when lex says Cuba. It sounds weird and doesn’t sound like him at all.

Very nicely done. A full edit put together like this is something I've wanted to see since I first saw the RIC.

Just like the ABC broadcast I have from the 80s. That’s the only version of ‘S II’ I watch to this day.

Thau’s usage of side shots of Zod are really jarring. Definitely prefer the shots used in the Restored InternationalCut.

this looks awesome, of only the producers could make a hybrid version of all.3 when do you think your hd version will be released!

Thanks, unfortunately for a great many of the scenes a widescreen version just wouldn't be possible without getting the real footage. This just happened to be a scene I could get to work since there was enough to make it work. Even then some shots were re-timed to fit the audio. I did make a pan and scan version recreating the TV version but using Blu-ray footage where available and only up-scaled VHS where absolutely necessary.

I would love to see the ABC or as they call it now international cuts of Superman 2 and 3 on blue ray

Same here. Hopefully one day. The closest thing right now for part 2 is my 720p composite version combining bluray and vhs footage. Never got to making one for part 3.

This definitely is Donner footage. I think one shot might have been Lester but otherwise it’s obviously Donner.

Yes any scene with Hackman is a Donner scene. There will be inserts of reshoots with the other cast but they are always pretty obvious when you know what to look for.

Dark sky and bushier Zod sideburns=Lester footage. Gray/warm-colored sky with thinner Zod sideburns=Donner footage.
