Yeah, this is definitely not a dance practice... just a camerawork guide. I'll take it anyway! Anything to see Taemin dancing again. He destroys this choreo. Even at 1:33 in this video, just the amount of detail he adds! The way he executes everything will never fail to blow me away.

I know that dancing isn't Baekhyun's strongest ability but I'm SO PROUD of him for keeping up with Ten and Kai and Taeyong especially. He did incredible. You can see how dedicated he is in every SUPER M performance. I liked his dance style before but his stamina impressed me and made me love him even more 💕🤲

Hahaha 😂 You can't even see him in 75% of his, but I do think he's grown a lot in his dance, and being in such an overpowered group in terms of dancers it s understandable - I just hate this kind of camera work haha 😄 I want to see EVERYTHING but yeah. Taemin floating. Kai popping. It's a lot of awesome in one screen

I hear you! I have such a hard time trying to pay attention to anyone else when Taemin dances. There's something about the way he moves that I find mesmerizing and can't look away from.

They are PERFECT

I am almost certain this was filmed as part of their prep work for filming the MV (so yeah, mid-2019). All their hair colours (what I can see of it) matches what you see in the Jopping MV (as does a lot of the movement). This video was released the day after their 3rd debut anniversary. A bunch of fans flooded social media for that and then we get this gift (and a post of an anniversary cake we have to wonder who would be eating??) and I like to think our enthusiasm had a little bit to do with it. I don't participate in the poison factory that is twt but it was lovely to chat a bit with other fans about our SuperM memories. We don't forget and we will be waiting :)

Really? My impression is totally opposite - that he’s super focused, precise and very clean with his moves. His gaze is fierce and you can see how he’s monitoring himself in the mirror. Idk how you got the feeling that he wasn’t focused.

Maybe I am so spoiled by him, because usually and especially in dance practice, it looks effortless to him. But in this one, he looks likehe is so focused to keep up with the others. Like he just learned the choreo an hour ago or something.

It seems like we’re looking at a different person cause I don’t see an ounce of struggle, quite the contrary - for me his moves are absolutely the best and totally effortless.

maybe the words you're looking for are chill and laid back. i agree he's a bit chill here because it's a practice session but i disagree with that he's not focused. He is extremely focused here on the choreo but just isn't going hard on the moves. Yet you can see how flawlessly he is executing the steps and freestyling in between. His dancing is still very precise and effortless.

And the winner is: US, the viewers, hands down. For getting to see Kai's chest pumps, for free. He's on another level, that man, everything about the way he moves, when he goes hard, when he twirls, when he pumps that chest, when he makes it look effortless, the speed he moves at, the stretch, the strength, when he jumps it seems like he's suspended in the air just a tiny bit longer than the others. This was fun watching the group in motion, especially Kai.

I don't care about cameras movements as long as we can see all the members dancing, there are so many parts were i can't see 2 even 3 of them... it's absurd to do that in a Dance Practice video, if we can't see each member dancing and can't see the full formations and formation changes... what's the point?

I think it looks weird because they were trying to cut as much of Lucas out as possible. The other camerawork guides they have released look a lot better than this.

@@LvingOxymoron A camera work guide is supposed to be prep for the MV filming, yes. Of course things will be adjusted but it's to give the members and the crew an idea of where the camera will be when they are filming the group dance sequences. Cameras need choreo practice too ;) But it's just a guide so the director will adjust things once they are on set (probably the green screen set that was CG'd to look like the interior of the arena.)

The dance is fire, the boys do an amazing job as always. But I feel like all this camerawork kills the purpose of a dance practice. I mean sure, they have to practice for concerts, music shows, shooting an MV and it's nice to see some moments in different angles but I would always prefer one steady camera in a middle, no cuts, no close-ups, just let the choreo speak for itself. Some of these dance practices are more like performance videos (and i'm fine with it because sometimes on broadcasts they do cuts in weird moments so you can't see shit) but like, please bring back classic dance practices. 🙏🏼
