I love this game. It is my favorite game. One of the greatest games of all time.
Thanks to the runners who have come before me, particularly Jogo, Micrologist, yyna, and Lemonade for contributing to an extensive body of knowledge about Superliminal, without which this run would not have been possible. I stand now upon the shoulders of giants.

Honestly I have no idea what's going on here lol the last time I watched a Superliminal speedrun, a while ago now, it must have been glitchless I'm amazed at how quickly you pulled off these wild tricks, and looking at the leaderboard this was an even more impressive record than I thought! Super congrats, even though I'm 9 months behind

Thank you Jogo! I remember watching your old 7:48 WR 2 years ago and being absolutely confounded, definitely one of the things that got me into the game to begin with. Really appreciate all your help with routing/strats along the way.

This glitch isn't possible on current game versions, they patched it bc it would happen to casual players in dollhouse. If you're on a recent game patch, you should be able to downpatch via instructions on the game's sr.c page. If you're already downpatched and still having trouble, I'm planning to make a tutorial for it sometime soon

I'm hoping to make some strat tutorials at some point! In the meantime, the superliminal speedrunning discord has some good resources. There should be a link on the game's sr.c page
are you still able to do all these tricks? i just got the game and i was curious as to if the tricks were still possible and if there was a way i can learn them?

Some of the tricks are possible on current game version, the warps should all work (Induction is more weird though). All of the portal stuff got patched, but there's new portal stuff that's also fast. I've got a playlist of any% guides on my channel, and there's a speedrunning discord for the game that's linked on the speedrun.com page

@@arcmage7000 I was trying to do the optical door strat and for some reason I couldn’t get to the spot. I followed the video and everything but for some reason something was just off. I guess it’ll take practice even though I’m able to warp I’m just not warping in the right spot

@@Ty_Bugz Yeah warps are just something you get the hang of over time. The level of precision required takes getting used to, over time you get a feel for which aspects of a setup you have to carefully micromanage

how come the load times and ending run aren't part of the final time?

Loading screens are removed bc they can vary depending on the hardware the game is running on, and the ending run is basically a cutscene; nothing the player does can speed it up or slow it down
