nah, it was this guy shouting in a weird voice over the top of an explosion sound, not like the actual game.

+Airguardian as a cinematographer you see this a lot, so cheap and does wonders to lighting. Although in the twirling scene it looked really silly since they were so far away I doubt it made much difference

I think the scene with the phone call in it was dumb. Its also important that time slows/freezes the consciousness freezes for everyone else. Also talking counts as moving.

For the outside shot - what is Ashley running around after the camera actually achieving? I presume it's something to do with lighting but not sure how it helps.

+Andy Jones reflecting a small amount of light onto the actors with the bounceboard. the effect in this case is minimal, but still makes a difference and keeps away a few harsh shadows.

Always wondered what the steering wheel on the camera is good for. Is it just easier to hold, or does it allow smoother rotation or something?

It has a gyroscope so the camera is always 100% still... You can see that even tho he is basically running with the camera, the camera isnt affected by it

+Broockle the steering wheel is called a Fig Rig. It helps you stabilize the camera by giving you easier holding points when handling it. If you held just the camera, there would be a lot more shakiness going on.
