Yep, imagine how many tries it took (even with performers this good) before they managed to get a continuous good take from start to finish. Even without drinking, you'd be punchy by the end. With it? -- well, we saw in those wonderful outtakes.

Yes they were goofing around at home having some wine and decided to do their own "production", lol. They also used to have kind of a competition they did of seeing who could sing the most off key, and it shows up from time to time in their silly vlogs on the SF channel.

Yes, I love that whole story. Although in reality it couldn't have been QUITE that impromptu... they had an edited accompaniment track all ready to go, and who was operating the camera? LOL I don't care, it's one of my favorite videos to watch.

It illustrates one of my basic principles (though I get in arguments about it occasionally): to spoof something convincingly, you first have to be able to do it well. And in fact, Mitch can get 100% into character in an instant. He's legit heartbreaking at a few moments here. As they all head into their 30s, maybe he'll clear enough time to appear onstage in a musical -- he has the singing and acting skills, and the magnetism.

Right, I was agreeing and extending the praise to include Mitch too. Kirstin has been on Broadway & should do a Disney, for sure; but Mitch needs that kind of showcase too. (All of them really, but Mitch's centered acting, even when goofing around, is impressive.)

The infamous blonde wig makes several appearances in their Superfruit videos. Another is their cover of 'Defying Gravity' from 'Wicked'. It has a similar feel as this since it was them just kind of goofing around. However Mitch''s skills, seem to take over and he ends up with a jaw-dropping finale to the song.

In HS they used to see who could sing bad the longest . Also, adult beverages were involved, but that was one take!

I've heard that the first take was the only one they got thru completely that night, which is why it became the "official" video despite Mitch's near breakdown as the "snow" hit him. I've actually theorized that the snow was a "sneak attack" from Scott & Kirstie and he had no idea it was coming!

Oh Lordy - this one always gets me, The Trio + alcohol hahahaha.... epic !! Broadway - one day, all three of them... can't wait !! Kirstie, an actual Disney Princess. Their futures are just so huge in whatever area they choose to do outside of PTX.

You can tell that these three did musical theatre when they were kids and teens. There's even video of Mitch doing a tune during a school production. This was apparently the time during which he sometimes was teased and even bullied for his beautiful voice. But as he said in an interview - "Well, look at me now!" Success is sweet revenge

If you wanna crack up just as much, you need to check out Superfruit's LaLaLand, I never saw the movie but after watching their take on it, I don't think the movie could be any better, lol ;)

Also if you wish to add two new artist to your channel that are Acapella I suggest voiceplay and citizen queen.( I know I already suggested citizen queen, but they are heavily underrated as is voiceplay)

Awesome reaction! I probably have seen this video the most times out of all other Superfruit videos because of just how much fun they are having and it always put me in a good mood! *this is a long comment and I'm so very sorry... but I'm so tired! I just can't seem to edit it properly let alone make it short enough . I have been trying for about an hour now and this is the best I've managed to come up with* . I loved your reaction! 😂 They have so much fun when they are just hanging out! I really needed this laugh and I'm so glad you reacted to this today! I love to watch Pentatonix's vlog series that they upload short episodes to once a week when they're on tour. But, I can't remember how they spell the name of their vlog series they put up! See, a fan named their channel the exact same name and I'm not sure how Pentatonix changed the spelling in order to differentiate their Official Vlog channel from the fan Channel . I think its PTXPERIENCE and used to be PTXperience 🤷🏼‍♂️ but they're vlogs and it's really cool to see how the set is designed, how it works how everything is put together and how it has evolved over the years to what it is today. And the group always has their mind blown the first time they see the set! It's really cool, fun & informative to watch the PTXperience Vlogs! To get an idea of what tour life is (and the technical side) for them now I would do episodes for "The World Tour" 2019 starting with episode 0. I love the one-on-one interviews as they go through their day plus seeing them backstage before they come out is interesting and Mitch is definitely the most nervous member of the group! North America Tour Summer 2018 is a GOOD introduction to Matt's personality and see what they added to their performances! Matt's interactions with everybody are just too funny that year! It was his first really big tour and I believe that was all outdoor venues? This is also when they stepped up what they're doing on stage by adding heavy choreo! I need to go back and watch some of the fun! During that summer tour, Matt cracks up laughing at the cover picture on the sleeve of a CD a fan handed him 2 sign. See, Scott has been very ambitious since he was a child and the CD Matt was handed was one of Scott's earlier works when he was pretty much prepubescent? just kills me every time because he cannot quit laughing! 😂 Scott has such a good sense of humor he gets in on it. It also keeps Scott humble being able to laugh at himself. He was a very ambitious young man! He wanted to sing and he definitely put himself out there from a very young age! But during that first summer tour with Matt in the group Scott's constantly competing with him at basketball, golf, miniature golf, I can't remember all the names but the ping pong tournament was epic because the groups opening for them were part of it as well. But the summer excursions on days off where PRICELESS during that summer tour! But Mitch wasn't quite back to himself yet and I suspect he was on a lot of vocal rest when everybody else was out having a good time. He had very challenging vocals in that set list for that tour! anyway that's the kind of thing you could just watch because you want something to watch and it's fun. it does NOT have to be a reaction! It's really amazing seeing the production they have now! Just seeing them freak out about what their stage is going to look like is really fun! You get to see the sound board that they have now and everything that goes on behind the scenes and seeing them learn what they need to learn! And watching them hang out together is really fun! You can find it all on their official Channel on KZread. It's interesting and sometimes hysterical watching them arrange music as well! A really fun video clip is the "Chicken Soup" song! 😂 😂 you can thank Kevin for that one! I'm going to watch some episodes now. To be honest, I can use some some laughs and fun as well as the heart touching stuff when they interact with fans.
